Maybe the pope is holier than we know. When do we ever hear good news about him?. I find Blue Collar Catholic (TH-cam) has some enlightening insights on the pope which have forced me to have a diff. opinion than I used to.
@@valwhelan3533 I hear good news about the Pope frequently. Its just that the not so good news is kind of... well... major. "ALL paths lead to God?" Yeah, not really. I'm reading Kings 4 in the Old Testament, and walking the path of sacrificing babies to Baal is currently getting the Israelites into real hot water with the Almighty, if you know what I mean. No disrespect intended here, but its pretty clear the West is running head-long into it's own Babylonian captivity. Universalism isn't going to save us, we have to return to Christ.
I watched Taylor Marshall today and he showed a video of him speaking. It’s like they want the church created in their image and plan and if not let’s just divide the church. If I don’t agree with the Pope, I pray and study first. He often is his own worst enemy as he speaks off the cuff and it does not alway come out well. Also the translation from this language to another is a problem. You are right, he is a loving man who always points to the love of God and others. May God protect and bless him. Amen
Thank you - if the Holy Spirit is still present in the Eucharist and other sacraments how cd he NOT be present in the church, leading and guiding it? Is He going to somehow desert the hierarchy after Jesus promised that the gates of hell will not prevail? New convert and I don't think I wd have converted if it didn't believe Jesus is always present in His church.
A question Father- among those Catholics who honor Mary (maybe too much?), there is this idea that, sometime in the [near] future, the Church will enter a time of Apostasy at the highest levels. Whether this prophecy is true or not can be a separate topic. Personally I am having a challenging time with much of what pope Francis is doing, and I can see how many are going too far giving in to scandalous ideas that have unfortunately for them given way to causing others to stumble by their scandalous utterings about Pope Francis, and while that is quite reprehensible, pope Francis is not making it easy- all the Bishops of Africa just could not accept his document Amoris Laetitia, and so he gave that Country a waiver?? Something is rotten in Denmark I am sad to say.
