Yes he is a great actor. Hamlet he was great. The Passion of the Christ was great. At same time we must pray for his repentance and even though his film Passion of the Christ brought Christ's suffering to light for our sins...because he is in mortal sin his good work in that movie has no merit in the eyes of God because his relationship with Jesus is broken until he repents. Correct me Father if I am wrong...I had a priest tell me that when we are in mortal sin it wipes out the good work we may do when our soul is in that state which shocked me at the time because I didn't understand and realize that...but once I thought about what my then priest told me it made sense. In a secular sense it is a great film and true to scripture...but doesn't have merit with heavenly eyes so to speak.
