Banking senior managers make 120k max. I would imagine telecom would be lower. Director level approaches 140k. These are for the large traditional oligopolies here. If you work for medium sized firms these figures are likely to be higher. Also getting a job at those levels without Canadian experience is going to be very challenging at this time.
One thing I would say from my experience that while it’s a struggle to enter job market without Canadian experience… once you have the experience on your resume it’s much easier to go up to the level you are best qualified for
@@NorthAmerican-Desi I definitely agree with that. However, I will caution that even folks with MBAs from Ivey, Rotman, Desautels are getting laid off and some are really struggling to get good jobs. The 2024 graduating batch from the top 5 business schools, unless getting something through campus recruitment are really struggling. The economy is in bad shape, hopefully next year we see start to some relief.
@Theworldisafamily68 yes it’s a rough time for the economy in canada for that matter most of the world except usa, Middle East and india (counting in the big ones!
There are different pros and cons. The UK has better opportunities as it is a bigger economy than Canada and being next to EU and closer to middle wast, makes travel a lot easier. The cost of living in London is similar to Toronto and Vancouver if not lower, but as soon you get out of Southeast England, the cost of living gets much better. I lived in London, Crawly, Reading and then Belfast. Belfast is by far the cheapest to live but it has its own pros and cons.
I finished my MBA from McMaster University and have 5 years of deal advisory (M&A) experience in middle east. 1 year in turnaround advisory in Canada. Now unemployed. Canadas economy is dry
I didn't understand why 150,000 or 200,000 for funding college education for one kid? means yearly 40,000-50,000 CAD per year inclusive of all expenses for Canadian kid?
@@NorthAmerican-Desi Bahroz, we usually hear that Canadian student fee just costs 1/3 or 1/4 of International student fee. My question is, for a Canadian kid he has much freedom in doing the job like more allowed hours& making side money, if he studies and works part-time he can make contribute 50% of this 40,000 CAD yearly educational expense? Is this doable ?

If you work in consulting for a big 4 manager levels and onwards are more lucrative. But that industry doesn’t have a lot of projects at the moment.

Question for Yaseen, how would you compare standard of living between 🇨🇦 Vs 🇬🇧 ? Which country is better based on your experience?
That’s a podcast in it self.. will bring him back to talk about that comparison..

Yes that math is correct
