I use L'oreal EverCurl hold&sculpt, and or L'oreal Curve It Curl Taming Cream) My hair is very long and thick as well. It is a tad lower that the top of my jeans. I love these buns.. any tips pleasee for all this wild hair or do you think I am fighting a losing battle? It is so heavy too. Either way.. You Rock!!

Could you maybe do a variation of this for long hair? I feel like my problem is that I have very thin hair but it's really long (below my natural waist now), so it's a lot to sort of loop up into a pile that turns out looking sort of limp.

You make this look so easy. I tried multiple times and practicing. still can't get it right. The clear rubber bands break in my hair. Because my hair is to thick. I want my hair up for next sat September the 23rd wedding in Madison. I will try practicing other wise my hair will be down.
Those fabric tie elastics don't stay in my hair for ANYTHING! I think they are sooooo cute and I want to use them so badly, but they don't hold on to my hair hardly at all. Kind of a big bummer.
I overthink it all the time so I always end up with a sleek ponytail :) But I have one question, do texturizing sprays and dry shampoos have an alike composition? (TS arent available around here)
