Hi bro, please let me know about the average tank range you’re getting with full tank. And any idea about the adjustable front forks that the new RTR200 is coming with? Are they really giving effective feedback?
Hey, I'm currently getting 44 kmpl, and the tank range falls in between 460-470. It still goes 20-30 kms additional, but it uses the reserve 2.5 litres of fuel. The model I own doesn't have adjustable suspension, but I think it's a good feature as it can be set based on the road conditions.
I m rtr 200 bs4 owner. try out the liqui moly street race once. I have tried motul 7100 , 300v , shell but liqui moly feels better in high revs compared to all.
Thanks for your inputs. I remember you had recommended Motul 7100 when I was using Castrol. I'll definitely try Liquimoly Street Race. I've also heard that Semi Synthetic oils like Motul 5100 15w50 works well on oil cooled engines. A lot of people i know are using it on RTR 200 and has good feedback about it. How's the gear shifting experience with Liquimoly?
Indeed a comprehensive and invaluable account of your actual experience. Usually only Parsees or Engineers are so meticulous in their care of their vehicles! In my college days there was a descendant of the TVS family (Hrishikesh was his name I think in the 70's). His Bullet was spotless with chrome buffing of the crank case. He had a compression gauge to check the compression ratio! I guess such gadgets are not required anymore. What about the Ronin? Do you think it will eat a bit of the Apache market share or have its own following ? Best Wishes.....
Thank you so much for sharing that, Sir. Talking about the Ronin, I have not got a chance to test ride it yet. Have been watching the reviews and I feel it's a versatile machine where it is city friendly and can be used for touring as well. Looks interesting for sure as it's the first scrambler variant from TVS. We'll have to wait and see how it performs in the long run. Apache is one of it's kind. Even though both falls in the same segment almost, Apache's engine has a different character. There would be people like me who will still go for Apache. People who needs a comfortable ride throughout can go for Ronin but young bloods who prefers some sporty and fun to ride machine, Apache will always be in the top list. These are my thoughts:)
Appreciate your efforts to bring such an informative video. Really helpful! I am using Castrol 20W 50. It feels okay but gear shifting has become terrible. Could you suggest me the best engine oil for smooth gear shifting and also best chain lube
Thank you bro! Motul does well with the gear shifts as far as I've heard and I personally feel it's smoother than Castrol. 20W50 is too thick for Apache, maybe that could be the reason for harder gear shifts I guess. Motul 10w40 would be good. For chain lube you can try TRM calidad, it has worked well for me.
Great review.. will be planning to buy this bike soon for weekend rides. Wanted to know the exact RPM at 85 to 90KPH in 5th gear. Also can you do 90kmph all day long without getting annoyed of the lack of 6th gear?
Your comprehensiveness is commendable. I'd like to know your thoughts on the Ronin, and perhaps compare that to your Apache, ideally side by side, using Apache as a scale for how good (or not) the Ronin is.
Thank you so much for your feedback. I haven't got a chance to test ride Ronin yet. I've been following up with the dealership requesting them for a test ride but they just have limited test ride vehicles at the moment. I hope early next month I would be able to get that vehicle and share my experiences here. Will keep you posted!:)
I own the apache 200 2021 model. My friend got the ronin this year and I rode that one for 100 kms and it was a great ride. Its base model is priced roughly same as apache 200. Ride both and see which ride speaks to you more. I really loved to the point I regretted buying 200 3 years earlier.
Hello, I've clocked around 30k kms. The mileage has been consistent for me. While touring, I get an average of 45kmpl, and in city commutes, it is around 41-42 kmpl.
I am currently in Mysuru. From which showroom you had purchased the RTR 200 and where are you giving for service ? Does RTR has side stand ? If not, in unprecedented situation how we would start the bike ?
There's a negligible weight difference on the rear side, but it doesn't affect the handling in any way. I wanted to reduce the weight slightly. That's the reason the saree guard was removed.
If I were to buy a bike right now, for a beginner myself who has only ridden an Activa. What would you suggest me? Should I go for Ronin, Apache 200 4V or jump to the Triumph Speed 400. My use would be mainly city and causal weekend rides. Please do suggest me what I should go for since you are an experienced rider, I am 5'11 with an average build. I would greatly appreciate your response. Thank you!
Hello, as you are a beginner and only ridden a moped, Speed 400 would not be an ideal bike to start with. Ronin, RTR 200, or any other 200/250 cc segment would work well. Ronin and RTR both work well for city commutes and long rides. Ronin is more like a cruiser, with good comfort, enough torque, and fuel efficient for city commutes. Whereas RTR is more sportier with good bottom and mid end power. As you are tall enough, it might get uncomfortable in the long run and city conditions, but if you like to enjoy the sportier riding position and want to be closely engaged to the bike, RTR can be one of the best options. Ronin would work well for your height if you are looking for a rider and pillion comfort, I believe.
Hello, for white I think you can go for ceramic coating or gloss ppf. Matte ppf would not be a good fit for white. You can get it done from any detailing shop where they work on ceramic and ppf. I would recommend you the gloss ppf as it can have a self healing feature which takes down the swirl marks or small scratches.

Is it worth to switch from bs3 model to bs6 apache ? Also, In terms of power, performance is the new bs6 apache worth buying ?
Hello, RTR 200 BS6 is a good option. The difference you may feel is with the power figures. BS6 engines are underpowered compared to BS3. This is the case with all brands, not just TVS. The refinement and fuel efficiency are better in BS6 engines. The low/mid end resembles BS4, but the top end feels lacking. It won't make any major difference if you're ok with the speeds between 90-110 while touring.

Hello bro, thanks for your feedback. Regarding rev matching, I've just made it a practice to blip the throttle for smoother downshifts. As slipper clutch is in place, even aggressive downshift won't affect the engine. Downshifting without rev matching is completely fine with slipper clutch engines.

I wanted to modify my bike somewhat similar, but i had a doubt that, have you faced any legal issues..? And is it legal to put lluvia crash guard on bike?
Not exactly issues but there will be some noticeable changes in the performance. Acceleration and fuel efficiency will have a slight drop and the front portion might feel a bit heavy while cornering and filtering through traffic.
I'm facing with a chain sprocket issue in my rtr 200 4v. I have changed it in a distance 18k but after one month it got damaged again. Is there any solution for this problem?
Hello, this doesn't seem like a common issue. I've clocked 24k kms with the same sprocket and not faced any issues so far, apart from normal wear and tear sound changes. I suggest replacing it with the Rolon chain and sprockets. Also, in case the chain is adjusted too tight, the issues can occur often.

Yeah, we really have beautiful places around Karnataka. Fuel Injected makes some crazy and informative content, I don't think I can ever match his knowledge level. At the moment I just love traveling and exploring places on my motorcycle :)
Can I have the link for those knuckle guards?
I purchased it offline from JC road, Bangalore. The link for a similar one is below -

@@MMT31 thanks bro.
Bro ... Which helmet do you use?
Heyy, I'm using Axxis Draken Cinzel.
Awesome long term ownership review. You have covered all the points of the bike. Well done! I wanted to buy this bike from long time but couldn't so i used to enjoy your vlogs. Now when I want to buy Apache tvs has come up with Ronin. Now I am confused. Can you please do us all a favour, can you test drive a Ronin and compare both bikes and gives us your thoughts. You will be better person to compare both bikes as you have good knowledge of Apache. Just a humble request!
Thanks for the feedback bro. I'm glad it was helpful. I actually checked with my dealer regarding Ronin but the availability is an issue in a city like Mysore. They've only allotted limited test ride bikes here. Atleast for the first few weeks, getting a test ride vehicle for more than a hour is a challenge here. I'll definitely follow up and try my best to make a review on that. I don't wanna give false hopes on the timeline but will surely try my best to help you with a review or comparison:)
@@MMT31 appreciate your prompt response. Will look forward to watch your Ronin review video soon. Have a good week ahead! Ride safe!
No worries bro. Happy to help :)
How's the pilion comfort in long journeys if you did? 200-300km journeys with pillion
Hello, the pillion comfort is not that great. Anything above 100+ kms would be difficult. Depends on the pillion size and weight, too.
@@MMT31well, I am not that heavy and big but I have gone on a journey of around 150km, from my personal experience I would say it doesn't really hurt your buns unless you are wearing any jeans or any hard pants.
Bro, how did u get matte black in 200 cc variant?
That's a matte ppf coating done on the stock gloss black paint.
@@MMT31 ok, How much does it cost and where dis you get it done?
@@rajeshpulicallu4965pls make video on ppf installation and details. Need more details which will help
Why it's not comfortable for pillion
Which camera are you using? And if it's costly can you suggest some cheaper alternative?
I'm currently using Gopro Hero 8, I think its close to 30k. It's worth spending so much. SJCAM, Yi, Eken are not that expensive but you won't get features like Gopro. I started with SJCAM and then upgraded to Gopro.
@@MMT31 Thank you. Right now I don't need features as I don't vlog, I just want recordings in case someone wrongly accuses me in accidents or cops accusing me of over speeding. So I guess like you I too will start with SJCAM and upgrade later to gopro
That's a good plan! All the best and ride safe :)
what saddle bag you are using bro planning to buy dont know which one to buy
Hello, I'm planning to buy Viaterra Leh Saddlebag. Seems to be a right fit for Apache's size.
@@MMT31 ohhh great, got an idea 😁😁 thanks for the reply bro 😄
Milege in urban mode at speeds around 55 to 60 kmph ???????
Mileage in choko block traffic in urban mode ??????
Mileage in sport mode at around 80 to 100 kmph !!?????
Plz reply.
The model I own doesn't come with riding modes. The average mileage I get in city commutes is 42kmpl, and while touring, I get close to 47kmpl.
And also what about crash alert ,mean does it work
Never got a chance to experience it.
I wanted to modify my bike somewhat similar, but i had a doubt that, have you faced any legal issues..?
And is it legal to put lluvia crash guard on bike?
No, I haven't faced any problems as such. These modifications are legal.
BRO luggage carrier how much price
Hello, it costed around 7.5k including shipping.
bro can ppf done on matte blue rtr?
No bro, I don't think so that's possible. But do check in the detailing shops if there are some ways to protect the matte paint.
Bro, is it possible to install 110 section tyre in front?
Hello, I don't think it would be a right fit. Upsizing rear tyre to the next level is fine but the front one should ideally be 90/90.
@@MMT31 Ya i agree to you, but still will it create any issue if decided to go for a fatter tyre?
Not exactly issues but there will be some noticeable changes in the performance. Acceleration and fuel efficiency will have a slight drop and the front portion might feel a bit heavy while cornering and filtering through traffic.
@@MMT31 Aah got your point. But i guess stability will get improved. Isn't it?
Yes I believe. Wider tyres will always have better grip but I'm not sure how the front tyre upsize works for a 200cc vehicle.
Michelin Piolet Street 😎😘
Thanks bro, 👍
You're always welcome! 😊
Where did you do ppf?
Hello, I got it done from this place called Wheeler Cleaner, Mysore. They also have branches in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kochi.
@@MMT31 how much did ppf cost
7.5k
What mileage you are getting now?
I'm getting an average of 44kmpl
Bro is that tyre stock size ? I mean 130 rear and 90 front
Yes bro, it's the same size. Front 90/90 17 and Rear 130/70 17.
@@MMT31will 90/90 front tyre give confidence in rainy reason and on slippery roads ?
Yes, it does. You just need to select the right tyre that works well in all conditions.
@@MMT31 thank you bro 👍
Nice review 👍 planning to buy pls talk in Kannada if possible it make easy to understand regional people 💗
Sure, will do. I'm doing it in English as it can reach a wider audience. If we can connect on Insta I can always help you if you have any questions.
What about build quality bro,
Build quality is good bro. It's not the best though but it has not given me any problems so far.
Mad Black??
I'm facing with a chain sprocket issue in my rtr 200 4v. I have changed it in a distance 18k but after one month it got damaged again. Is there any solution for this problem?
Hello, this doesn't seem like a common issue. I've clocked 24k kms with the same sprocket and not faced any issues so far, apart from normal wear and tear sound changes. I suggest replacing it with the Rolon chain and sprockets. Also, in case the chain is adjusted too tight, the issues can occur often.
Matt Black looking 🔥🔥
Thank you 🙂
where did you get PPF done?
