I think farmer and rancher are the best and maybe "true" endings. In the other endings your spouse takes over the farm together with Takakura. But the spouse is old too, so it seems like the farm is going to waste again if they would die and all your efforts were useless.
ima be so disappointed if my son leaves for the city. when i did the box thing it raised his academics so i really regret that. his abilities for ranching and farming are very high the like is academic. i hope he stays on the farm;-; im on year 5 now i think

Some people say that youre now playing in heaven or you did come back to life. You can continue the game from there and complete all the Wonders and other things.
Is it easier to level up to the career I want? I remember that the original version was extremely difficult and had a lot of factors that affected the son's personality. I ask because I want a son of lumina on the ranch and in the ps2 version it was impossible
I won't say its easy especially you want to have a son with Lumina but you prefer Ranching. I spent giving gifts to the child for almost 2 in game years just so the like/ability change to Ranching. There are some factors yes like the year end events and as well as making friends to villagers. Dont bring your child elsewhere, just your barn/coop.

@@aftershifthobbiesI tried making Gordy's kid an athlete but there are so little things to show and do to raise their interest and if you disinterested them in art academic would takes over, I was surprised the athlete ending was Gordy's daughter in the video I thought it was impossible

There is an event some time in year 5 where your child asks if they have a chance with Kate/Hugh, I think that's the one youre pertaining to

I am not so sure about a different ending if youre much friendlier with them. It seems they changed or removed a lot of things compare to the original
