Thanks so much, saved me reading the manual! I must say it's very easy to use however but you really helped in a few areas for me. Love the purchase there is so much you can use it for. Even putting backing tracks on it for love performances and using it as simple mixer even, I hate using DAWs to actually record with, this is great as it saves all your individual takes and then you can transfer to the DAW later to arrange and mix. Well worth the money.
Thank you, for your feedback and sharing your experiences 🙏 It is convenient, but I still prefer recording via DAW, at least for studio work - because of the higher audio quality. :)
Sehr schönes Tutorial, es gibt aktuell zu wenige auf YT. Wenn du noch die Loopsettings und FX erklären könntest, wäre das aktuell das umfangreichste und inhaltlich wertvollste Tut. Vielen Dank dafür.
Glad it helps :) Be sure to check out the Settings Tutorial as well, if you wanna know more 🤙 Maybe I’ll do some Loop Tutorials for Songs with my preferred FX in fall.
I appreciate the in depth look at this looper, not a lot of people are sharing this. A lot of complaints about the workflow, what are your thoughts on that?
Well, what I like about this looper are the quality pedals, the nice and easy to use touch display and the good sound quality coming out of it. Certainly there are some things about the workflow that could be smoother (e. g. Activating / deactivating FX / all start function, etc.). I hope they’ll add more customization options with future software updates …
@@avellionmusic Thanks for the quick response man. I use headrush looperboard for 3 gigs per week, but after 2 years it's slowly dying and I might switch to looper x, just need to solve a few of the common issues people have. Mainly Start Stop All.
@@brensocial Well, the stop button stops all tracks - so stop all is not a problem. And for start all you have to unmute all the tracks u want to be playing once you press “play” again. (That might mean pressing multiple track pedals - it works but takes some getting used to) => you can see that in my cover of tainted love by soft cell
You’re very welcome 😉 Thank you for your request 🙏 Unfortunately I’m very busy currently so I won’t be able to follow it in the near future. But I took notice and will keep it in the back of my head 😉🤙
Well, there are three easy to use Bass Presets in Ed’s Rack. You load “Ed’s Rack” as an effect onto a track. Then you scroll down in the preset list, til you find “Dirty Bass” and the other two and touch to load one. From there you can adjust them to your liking :) Hope the helps :) Best Regards Avellion
Nice vid! Question. Just upgraded to this. This is how I was looping on my RC 300: Track 1: Beatbox Track 2: Main Rhythm Guitar Track 3: Bassline For the verse of a song, just the rhythm track would play. Before the chorus drops, I would press all stop.. then all start to bring the chorus in with all tracks playing for that big sounding effect. I was trying to do this on the Looper X but if the rhythm guitar track is playing alone, and I stop it.... when I bring it back in by pressing start/play, just that track plays. Is there not an all start/stop function? TIA
All Stop yes, all start not that I know of. The way you can do it though (and the way Ed does it) is when u have stopped all tracks quickly unmuting all tracks that u want to play in the Chorus / when u press play again. You do that by pressing the mode pedal and pressing the track pedals of tracks u want to be playing - once all have the green light on u press play. Takes some getting used to, but works. :)
I haven’t experimented with that, since I am not using drum tracks myself. Have you tried loading the drum track into your loop and then changing the tempo afterwords via the knob as shown in the video?
Haven’t tried yet, you can experiment with the bounce function tough. I think currently that ain’t possible. But be sure to send a support ticket to headrush with the wish to add these features, so they know and maybe implement them in future software updates.
@@avellionmusic headrush looper board has been in business for years and years. If they havent implemented it yet, i dont think they would, in any software updates.

Good rundown. There don't seem to be many tutorials so far on TH-cam currently, so your insights are helpful. Thank you.
Glad it helped!

Danke, Settings Tutorial ist schon abgedreht, kommt wahrscheinlich nächste Woche ;)
You are amazing for putting this together. Just got one today, lots to learn but hoping you keep adding videos as YOU learn. Thank you for sharing!

@@avellionmusic Nice ya I see that. I guess trying to avoid learning a new way of doing things, but that may be unavoidable.
top!!!!
excellent video was a great help to me, thank you for posting.
Love this. Please make a more deep tutorial on settings.
Will be done ✅ in about 3-4 weeks when I am back home in my studio.
This helps a lot. Thank you 🙂
Great Video! 💪
Hello thank you very much for this very informative video 🙌, can you show some of the included drum loops!? , thank you very much!!!

Alright, noted - once I am back home mid June, I’ll do that ;)
Brilliant video, be good if you could deep dive into settings and fx
Registered, I’ll see to it once I find the time ;)
how does the base effect works, how can I use or find it?

I use boss rc600 personally. I think it’s more complex 😁
Fair enough! :)

I haven’t experimented with that, since I am not using drum tracks myself. Have you tried loading the drum track into your loop and then changing the tempo afterwords via the knob as shown in the video?
Is there a way to have my guitar coming through both tracks 1, 2 and 3 and a microphone coming through track 4?
Yess, check out section Audio Routing at 21:18 therefore ;)
Thank you!
Can you record four tracks simultaneously? For example if your band members play four instruments simultaneously.
As far as I know, so far you can not. But not 100% sure. Maybe they add it via future software update.
Can you move a specific layer in a track to another track?
Haven’t tried yet, you can experiment with the bounce function tough. I think currently that ain’t possible. But be sure to send a support ticket to headrush with the wish to add these features, so they know and maybe implement them in future software updates.

Can you merge multiple tracks to a single track in it?
You can copy tracks to another track via the bounce feature. So should be possible, just takes a few steps if you want to merge multiple tracks.
besides being a big sob and more real estate. Id much prefer the Aeros looper to this. can do so much more with it
