As mentioned in the video...make sure the plastic is completely dry before applying the protectant.....any protectant.

I really have my doubts about it lasting 5 friggin years. With all products I personally have used I haven't found one yet that lives up to the manufacturers claims. I'm sold on Cerakote trim restorer. Applied it one one of my vehicle's that the trim was absolutely hammered much worse than this mini Cooper and one year later it still looks like the day I applied it. Definitely prep is the key.

I like stoners products. I’ve always used carpro Dlux for trim restoration but this one I might needa try out. Stoners came out with a ceramic glass coating, I think it would be cool if you tested it, compared it to others, great video

Best I think is to properly wash all exterior plastics / rubbers and let dry or dry . Then to liberally spray 303 Protectant onto them and sit for how many minutes ? Then to wipe in and off with a microfiber towel , prevention is the key .

Poorboy's World Everlasting Trim Coating is a product I've seen on another TH-camrs channel, that was tested on durability and lasted over a year, if I am not mistaken. Poorboy's World products are extremely underrated.

At $50 and with that ease of application, even if it lasts 2ish years it is a worthwhile product (as long as it can be removed and reapplied)

Looks pretty darn good. This one will go in the "gotta try it" category. It would appear that you could do multiple vehicles like the Mini Cooper. Black clad plastic trim is a pain in the neck to make look good. Thank you Brian.

I used carpro DELUX on my 2005 911 and my other daily driver wiper cowl that was faded . It turned in to very new like condition. Water beading is crazy and I just bought 2023 new suv. All the around wheel textured plastic, front plastic grill, rear wiper plastic.I coated before it's gets faded. I just apply and let it soak in for textured plastic. Gloss plastic I wipe. Not sure how long it's will last on my daily driver bcz it's parked outside. 911 used to be parked in garage and lasted still until i sold in September.
