  • The Camel Trophy event is known as one of the toughest off-roading events in history. Teams from all across the world came together to put their driving skills to the test in remote locations. The 1989 Camel Trophy event took place in the Amazon Rainforest and was the hardest year in the events history due to mud, mosquitos and intense conditions. This is the year Bob Ives and his brother Joe became the first British team to win in the events history.
Bob Ives recently traveled to America for an off-roading vacation and we met up with him at our shop in Oregon. We then drove to Moab Utah for some quality off-roading and later to Flagstaff Arizona for an event. Bob shared is experiences competing in Camel Trophy and working as Top Gear's Remote Location Specialist along the way. Check out our adventure in the videos below!
