@@Unknown-hq4cp well it is, because most people had just as much trouble as me, there's a reason the game dev had to make the gameplay easier, if everyone was able to complete it and there were no complains, they would have left it as is, besides I have a life, I can't spend hours on a game.
@@CA_786 nah, some people just hate any challenges (especially TH-camrs like Mark) so they give up very quickly and then blame the game. The game wasn’t something impossible (like go try Cuphead or Dark Souls), it’s just required some skill from people who only played scripted hallway games with jumpscares and never experienced any challenge. Anyway, the S ranks are still here, and if someone want to get to the 12th level and the True Ending then they’ll need to get S ranks. And btw, there is an easy mode, he could just switch to it instead of blaming the game and not himself of how bad player he is (same to you)

I love that someone basically just went and made Pacman into a horror game.
I know Mark got genuinely frustrated with the Moving Statues part of the game, but I do genuinely hope he one day returns to this game and continues it as it looks like a genuinely brilliant horror game. (and I'm saying the word 'genuinely' too much aren't I?)

I think most people got frustrated with the moving statues level the most, at least from what I've seen.
They’re literally the same as the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who, and I think that’s really cool.

I really hope Mark comes back to this game. With chapter 5 being planned for release sometime this year it would be neat to see him try this game again.
And even if he never sees this, I'll still say it for others: Mark, there's a really good strategy for Deadly Decadence that, despite several annoying deaths when I tried it, genuinely works. Literally DO NOT STOP MOVING! Ever! If Gold Watchers block you, teleport past them and activate the speed ability ASAP. I beat this level in about 30 minutes by doing this. I basically used my powerups as soon as they finished the cooldown. The Watchers are probably the worst so far. The next two levels after: Stranger Sewers and Crazy Carnevil were surprisingly easier. As I'm commenting this, I'm still in the middle of Torture Therapy. But from watching gameplay: Deadly Decadence is the most frustrating level released so far.

It’s been a year and Mark still hasn’t come back for chapter 3. Probably because of the golden statues being so difficult to avoid.
The game has been updated and made that level easier and more fair so Mark should go play this game again.

Hey mark.. this is the perfect time to come back if you want to because they have made a system in which the gameplay is much more fun.. you have to realise that this game is very strategy based and its not an unfair bullshit like many rage games. It is very difficult and if you practise a bit and use a strategy it becomes much easier. I have quite the experience with this game and trust me.. its very fun once you learn. You dont actually have to get good at the game though because even if you die they have made the game much more easy to progress and you will not have to rage. Or quit. The levels are now much friendlier to the people who want to progress the game quickly. And the later chapters are absolutely AMAZING! You re gonna love it. I recommend playing this game from the start though because the whole game has received a massive update which not only introduces new graphics but also adds more to the gameplay and story as well. It will honestly be a shame if you leave it in the dust because its a really good game and it has evolved a lot from where you left it... hey.. its your choice. Nobody is pressuring you. Im just saying this to update you.
Mark, I think you should revisit this game. It's become something really amazing, and I'm sure youd love it. Maybe play through the first two portals on your own time, there might be some story elements hidden around. Regardless, this game really deserves some praise, especially from the person who helped make it popular.

A few little tips:
* You can replay prior levels for additional upgrade points, as well as to locate secrets and improve your ranking.
* While you _can_ teleport past the enemies, doing so immediately breaks line of sight. If you don't get far enough past them, they'll grab you.
* Some secrets are located in "glitch rooms", where the monster cannot go. This is a good thing...
* There are eight (8) Gold Watchers total. This is _not_ a good thing...
Honestly, though, you did very well. Of course, it helps that you started this chapter after the patch that slightly nerfed the Watchers. In the first version, you had to have actual line of sight to them in order to keep them from moving -- players tended to get horked by a statue coming around a corner that was just out of their field of view.

Personally, I think this is a case where NO ONE is innocent. It's clear through Bierce's diaries that she wasn't the shining example of humanity, but I also believe Malak is at least slightly based of off the Cannanite god Moloch, the demon of child sacrifice (which makes sense given the storyline so far).
