I love this music because its the kind where you can just lay down, put the headphones on, and dream for a few minutes. Your own imagination is half of the experience.
Feels like just passing a medieval town and there is a great festival, we are just on a journey to see different towns like this. In the middle, we rest in an inn at night, and we start the journey while the sun rose......It is just a beginning of the journey
Quick, somebody light a bonfire, grab some kegs, bring some tankards and someone roast a boar! Lets dance and shout and laugh all night long and listen to the music play!
When you finish writing it, I'd love to read it (or even just a spoiler if you plan on publishing it). If you listen to Peter Crowley, I'm sure it will be an interesting story =)
This just might be your most festive melody ever! I love the joy and happiness you put into the beginning and ending of the piece. I enjoyed every second of it. :D
This song was the first I ever discovered by Peter Crowley. Listened to it on late nights in middle school. Inspired a lot of my writing and made me want to make my own music! Thank you!!
I'm with you all the way! Except we might still need modern medicine. Can we find a place by England and Ireland and Scotland so it's traditional. Hehe know any billionare's who can afford to buy an Island?
People who play MMORPGs are often seen as having no life. However, they have more of a life than most real people do, while we slave away at work or school, players are having great adventures, slaying powerful foes, and having a joyous time with their friends along the way. I will never feel ashamed nor regret all of the time I've spent in some of the MMORPG games I've played.
Every time I hear music from Peter I want to up and leave for the British Isles and live in some secluded place in Wales or something with nothing but my books and a big field.
Bells started to ring.I tied my apron and threw on my shawl.Dashing down the stairs, grabbing my basket and running outside. The market was a buzz of scottish lits and the sound of fiddles.Once I made it to the calm of the woods,I started to gather herbs and berries.Soon it was time to go.Sounds of our anthem echoed the streets.Twilight was starting to fall.I made it to the house just as the last slice of sun slipped behind the mountians. This music has burst my imagination!
I start each day with this song, and every time I wish the last melody stayed longer (30 more secs perhaps!), with a few changes perhaps in orchestration etc so that it doesn't get dull. Best way to start your day! Peter Crowley Fantasy Dream I hope you make an extended version someday, in your spare time :-)
Close your eyes, and imagine yourself as flying through the medieval skies, over the crowd dancing and singing with the spirit of freedom and joy........ Hats off to you Peter. You're doing awesome, keep it up !!!!!!!!
HOW!!! Could I find this song after such long time since release?! 1. step - come home from work 2. step - take headphones, turn volume on 3. step - click "play" on Medieval Anthem and escape reality :D
I must say I love this theme. Out of all your splendid compositions, this is one that I keep coming back to listening to. It helps me out of writer's block as it beautifully captures the joy of writing, especially fantasy, in its joyous melody; reminding me that I should keep writing again whenever I feel defeated and about to put my pen down. :)
Years ago, I read the earliest recorded story of Robin Hood, from the 1300s I believe. I recited it aloud to the tune and pace of this song, and it fit almost perfectly. Made me so happy.
Without exaggeration at all, this is the best orchestral piece I've ever heard in my entire life and it will be for the remainder. I have no idea what my connection to this land and this music has a part to play in this, but every time the music swells I get A Rush of overwhelming, incomprehensible emotion that transcends my heritage. Limited by their technology, I think that this is what they always wanted to hear.
Imagine one summer morning, at 9 am, waking up to one special day of your village. You race up and down the house screaming for your mother to wake up while at the same time going without her to explore yourself. The town square, bustling with villagers, playing games in tents, dancers on podiums, and an official game about to start. The one experience of your life.
In the mist of a medieval town there is a legendary scroll that states the medieval pledge of allegiance and below that on the scroll is this epic song. Good job on giving the medieval era an amazing anthem... Thumbs up.
The sun rises on another beautiful day in the village and as we can see the village is full of life from the local markets opening up to the children running around the streets!
It reminds me of beautiful days, I hiked and took a walk in front of Sun, and it's vision music that's sad but also happy that makes your heart cry with happiness, it's music that makes you want to conquer a peak and conquer a green hill

Good morning peasants. It's me. your benevolent ruler, bringing you some more music by Peter Crowley! Enjoy and pay your taxes. (keep up the good work Peter.)
