Hi my friend ! first, thank you for your compliments, then, I am sorry if I desapoint you, but the music theory is really important, I really guess that. I study music theory since the age of 6 or 7 (I am 20 today), it's really important because I write my music on a software ... and also sorry, but I leanrt how to compose all by myselft and I have no idea how to teach such a thing lol, just try and try again, and if you try enough you'll succeed ! :)
On a different TH-cam channel @CliveHarrison I compose myself on a software having taught myself how to do it. It's not nearly as impressive as yours, yet. But you are an inspiration to shoot for this level of quality.
ooh, the intro is concerning hobbits but both are so wonderful, pretty, marvelous, beautiful, cool...but I can't describe something better than wonderful.
By song, I meant songs ... the medley was done so well, the transitions into the next songs were so smooth, that I kind of forgot that it was more than one song. :)
This is like polyphonic chant -- but with instruments. And while voices can be flawed, it is far easier to correct instruments. BUT, if you want some competition, go back to the Golden Age of Christendom, where Polyphonic Chant was used in nearly every church and everyone used the gift of music which God gave them to their best ability. Try listening to ancient polyphonic chants like Jesu Rex Admirabilis. Nice compositions to hear. Even more fun to sing!
You are a writer too. I'm only 13 years old and I already write fantasy books. I'm working on a new one now. It's called Before it happens and another one called The child of the forest.
@@theplumscrub1627 I will release my first book soon. I can tell you when it's done. And I also renamed The child of the forest. So if you don't rekognise the name, thats why.
Chistina Steffens Don't forget the amazing Veigar! Most of his pieces are mediocre, but he has two (Journey to the Edge and Dragons and Demons) that are some of the best songs I have ever heard! Although since those are his only 2 super good ones, Peter is still the better composer
Wow! This song is honestly so beautiful and epic...it sounds like it should be in a movie like the Lord of the Rings or the Pirates of the Caribbean. You put so much emotion into this piece. This is probably the best Celtic song I've heard all year, if not my whole life. Keep up the great work and I hope you have a wonderful week! :)
Thank you very much my friend ! :) I read to your post and knew about your troubles ... I don't really know what advice I can give you ... but I am really sad for you ! I can perfectly imagine how much it can affect you ! just disable the rate system for the moment ... maybe it's going to get better ... Stay strong my friend !
Many years ago I started writing a song, the beginning sounds a lot like this one. Even the harp at minute 1:00 sounds almost the same, but I never finished the song and then I lost it. Now I listen to this and brings me memories of that time, and I see that you did a better job than I could've ever tried. Beautiful! Thanks!
I have another song called shiny valley which turns into symphonic rock around minute 7, the midi version is in my profile if you are interested. Well I wanted to make another of the same style than shiny valley but without the rock part
My dear, this song is on an album called 'Score To A New Beginning' which is available on Bandcamp for free :) (it's the only album however to be free !). Take your copy and listen to his song on your iPod :) (link in the description)
La buena música moviliza las emociones de quienes la escuchan, pero muy pocos músicos logran sacar lágrimas de alegría. Mi admiración, mis felicitaciones, pero más que nada mi gratitud para usted Peter Crowley. The good music brings emotions into the people that listen, but very few musicians make people cry of joy. My admiration, my congrats, but most of all my gratitude to you Peter Crowley. I don't know if I write it well, but i hope you understand.
It's celtic style music like this that captures that spirit of freedom and adventure that you simply can't get anywhere else. It's one of my favorite genres, great for the imagination.
I wish this world where we live in can just transform into a fantasy world that has beautiful creatures and adventure, beautiful landscapes and quests.. I wish there will be a machine that can virtually make you go into a world of magic and fantasy... How sad that we are killing the world because of the temptation of money, or fame and power.. we should save nature before we are the next one to be killed. It is sad because we can't see the beauty of our galaxy and stars because of light pollution. We should save our planet.
Dear Peter - thank you a lot for this music. Yeah :) It really makes me to take a looong adventure :) For glory, for fortune, for experience, whatever...To the land of knights, magic, ...something like Skyrim or MiddleEarth :) ..where man became famous /hero only through his/her own acts - helping people, ... Not by force, money, conections,.. I am fool, a dreamer...Yeah - maybe. But I wish this makes real... I am on long yourney :)
I love reading the comments here. All so positive, and there's this running stream of comments on how it feels so magical. That is exactly how music should feel, in my opinion. Music should bring us into a creative, magical world when we listen.
Very powerful it stirs your soul and fires your mind. I love the harp in there, I always loved harp in music. Simply fantastic music. I am half irish and half welsh its in my blood. Loool!
You, must have a heart of gold ! to write such incredible music .... it never leaves me where ever I go this song always follows , Its as if I can feel the rhythm, the beat So much feeling in this song. Thank you so much for putting it on for all to hear !
There's something really compelling about this. In the beginning there were few bits that reminded me of the Braveheart soundtrack, the part that played as William's father and brother were buried. Then it just grew, becoming something truly epic, vaguely reminiscent of the LotR soundtrack. All through it there seemed to be something underneath, something familiar, like a song you've heard long ago, but can't remember the words to, but at the same time it's a very distinctive piece in its own right.
Really great song, first time i heard this,it gives me spirit from inside of my body, and also will to change and keep go straight to my dream and to realize my future.keep on making great song like this mr peter.i really love your song
This song is just amazing... If feel a million miles away when I listen to it! it has all the best parts of passion, simplicity and sweetness that any piece of music could have!!!
This is beautiful. A symphony of passion and melodies that blend into fantasy and magic. I can feel the melody and its soul. After listening to Brunuhville and Adrian von Ziegler for many months now, I can say that this song is their professional level. This is my favorite of all the ones that you composed. Written by a High schooler who appreciates the beauty in music.
How did i miss it, very beautiful Peter .. The soul, sound quality, melodies, everything is just perfect mate : ) Good job brother, keep up the good work, you deserve a way more recognition ..
Y are all the greatest TH-camrs underated its sad how that works ur music is incredible and so is alot of other underated TH-camrs i use ur music to motivate me when i draw or build its very powerful
very melodious celtic combination, Peter!! I can see the sylvan path, beautiful grass field, travelling through the dangerous mountain path n then sit down n hav the campire with the knight, druid n fairy haha
I think this is the most complete and inspiring melody I have ever heard... My favorite. When I write, thanks to this music I can imagine another worlds and feel it. Thank you!
It was our wedding entrance music :) Very powerful, emotional and full of hope.. It had created great effect on our guests. Recommended ;)
Thanx :)
vayy ablama bak sen :)) peterciii :DD
Man you must have had an epic wedding. What did you first dance to - Antti or 2 steps? :D
Congratulations ! It must have been beautiful !😊
eylul kabakci thanks for the idea I know what music my wedding will have

Love u
6 years later, it's still a magnificent piece of art. This is one of those types of songs which will never get old.
Dude youre right. I make my own music with a software too and all you have to do is learning by self and watching tutorials. :D
U r great
On a different TH-cam channel @CliveHarrison I compose myself on a software having taught myself how to do it. It's not nearly as impressive as yours, yet. But you are an inspiration to shoot for this level of quality.
Sounds like the intro to a Lord Of The Rings movie 😂😂
I'm so proud that my ancestors where the Cetlics. Because I just love their music style
ooh, the intro is concerning hobbits but both are so wonderful, pretty, marvelous, beautiful, cool...but I can't describe something better than wonderful.
Same thought.. Intro reminds me LOTR bgm
I love listening to these kinds of music makes me want to live in a fantasy world of my own so much.
Omg Yas 😄
Same though!!
Be awed at what your mind can create.
Live in it in your dreams.
By song, I meant songs ... the medley was done so well, the transitions into the next songs were so smooth, that I kind of forgot that it was more than one song. :)
thank you, for breathing life back into my broken spirit.
Listening to Peter ' s music and then to modern music, there's no competition there. Peter woooh!
exactly my thinking! i loove this music, this is real music 😍😍😍
Listen to other modern composers in this genre-Adrian Von Ziegler,Derek,Peter Gundry and you happy for genre popularity.
This is like polyphonic chant -- but with instruments.

This is so wonderful! I listened to this when I was writing a fantasy book. I totally recommend it for writers
Yeah i write stories while listening to his music. It makes pictures run in front of my eyes like a movie.
You are a writer too. I'm only 13 years old and I already write fantasy books. I'm working on a new one now. It's called Before it happens and another one called The child of the forest.
Our World Where do you publish/upload them?
I’d love to read a bit (or at least a summary of them)
@@theplumscrub1627 I will release my first book soon. I can tell you when it's done. And I also renamed The child of the forest. So if you don't rekognise the name, thats why.
Alice Von Heimer where will it be released? I hope it will be on a digital platform so i can read it :3
When I hear this, words just flow out of me.
You I have never heard...and I have listened to Adrian Von Ziegler, Peter Gundry, And Derek and Brandon....I have to say this is AMAZING!!!!
Brunuhville is pretty good too, as I listen to all the other composers you mention I'd highly recommend him :)
Oh I have some of his work too! but those three i mentioned are my main three...
Finley Mills
really all them we mentioned are amazing!
Chistina Steffens I can't argue with you there :)
Chistina Steffens Don't forget the amazing Veigar! Most of his pieces are mediocre, but he has two (Journey to the Edge and Dragons and Demons) that are some of the best songs I have ever heard! Although since those are his only 2 super good ones, Peter is still the better composer

*goose bumps* O_O
I feel like I`m watching a movie/playing a fantasy game like Lord of the Rings!
Awesome!
Did you say Lord of the Rings?!?! :D
Anna Worley
yes^^
Miracoline In my opinion the Intro sounds a bit like the Auenland song "Concerning Hobbits" - Maybe thats why ^^
The pieces flow together so perfectly, it's almost impossible to tell they are separate songs.
:D I would be so glad if you actually take this song for you weddings ! :)
The beginning music sounds like In Dreams from Lord of the Rings. I love your music!
i couldn't agree more !
yup
was about to write the samething
Of course you can, there's no problem :) Thanks
Thank you very much my friend ! :) I read to your post and knew about your troubles ... I don't really know what advice I can give you ... but I am really sad for you ! This type of music is so brilliant that the whole planet should hear it and it could make it a better place long live this type of music
My dear, this song is on an album called 'Score To A New Beginning' which is available on Bandcamp for free :) (it's the only album however to be free !). Take your copy and listen to his song on your iPod :) (link in the description)
An "iPod"? What's that?
All Hail Lord Peter~~~

I have listened to this song for many many times. It leads me "home" and brings courage to me.
So far it's my favorite celtic style song.
Very powerful it stirs your soul and fires your mind. I love the harp in there, I always loved harp in music. Simply fantastic music. I am half irish and half welsh its in my blood. Loool!
Princess Mononoke + Lord of the Rings?
^^
You have no idea how happy that makes me JuLy
I was thinking the same thing :D
Haha so true though XD
The beginning reminded me of the Braveheart music. The love theme for William and Murrin 😁
It's still my favorite Celtic-related song. Very emotional.
This music is so well done it could be used for sailing across the sea.
I was born in Ireland and lived there for quite sometime. I live in America too me I’m proud too be both American and Irish citizen.
5 years later, the journey still goes on and will undoubtedly go on for many years to come
This really is lovely. It's epic. Exciting, sweet, and romantic. Thanks for this. I love it.
