Griftlands is Klei's (Don't Starve, Mark of the Ninja) newest game. Currently in-alpha, it's a deckbuilding strategy game that has a few unique tricks along with a much more robust adventure layer than most games of its ilk. Check it out!

About this game:
Griftlands is a deck-building roguelite where you negotiate, fight, steal or otherwise persuade others to get your way. Every decision is important, be it the jobs you take, the friends you make, or the cards you collect.

@@megalukester98 yeah yeah I've heard this thing about 1000 times already. Deviding your playerbase and forcing people to go on a straight up shit client or not play at all is a good business Yada Yada. But for you getting any amount of money upfront is probably good business because you don't know what brand name, deminishing returns, accessability and all that other stuff that makes for a much bigger chunk of money means. Never had I said a word about steam and there are other platforms for games to sell but hey epic whitewashers need to put label on everything otherwise they would have nothing to say. But if you want to dig yourself, go on, tell me how company that built itself on steam from ground up and got a following there made a smart business move by telling basically entirety of their community to fuck off.
@@nikitachumachenko3412 its not a epic exclusive, at least the full game isn't, I just checked the steam store and it plans to release 2020, I guess their just alpha testing on epic games

There are few things I love more than watching NL try and wrap his egg around basic game mechanics.
I love how receptive developers have been to the rise in popularity of non-violent combat mechanics. Undertale's influence here can't be understated

I can already see it. Right now he read the bleed effect, and said it's "kinda like poison from StS"... Now, I'll just assume he will be very confused when he discovers the stacks get cut in half, instead of just ticking down by one... Let the games begin.
He didn't spend 500 episodes learning how to play slay the spire to forget it so easily!

I doubt anybody was confused about what a "Northernlion tries" series is. It's as self-describing as can be.
I was sure this was Klei from the thumbnail. Their art is so nice that stands out from other games.

This is looking good. Not quite dicey level, but I can see myself watching a couple dozen hours of egg misplays on this one. Though I feel like his dislike for lore will negatively affect his overall progress
