      "When the servers don't crash" if when they do, it's horrible and dreadful, it's like : "Hey today I wanna flip a coin ! What will it be CIG ?"
      (Yes, not everyone rely on this game for their mood aye ? Just a small joke)

      I would agree with this, and I wish devs would spend more time on server stability rather than on events

    I love how Drake ships just work so well together, Caterpillar + Vultures is just perfection and the Cutty Black even has painting on the floor perfectly fitting 2 dragonflies. No other manufacturer has that level of harmony between their ships.

    The Nomad would be pretty convenient to pair with the Vulture for smaller operations, as its tractor beam is operable from the pilot seat.

      315P even better - tractor beam accessible from pilot seat and its facing foreward out in front of the nose - so, no having to maneuver to work behind the ship

    • @CathrineMacNiel
      @CathrineMacNiel ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@lights4bre890 on paper perhaps, but the 315Ps tractorbeam isnt gimballed and you cant enter its remote turret. And there are cargo guards so you cant just yank the cargo from the front.

      It's also as munch effective as a reclaimer and needs less crew (3 for this method compared to 4-5 in order to not have the cargo guy going full sweat from the elevator to the cargo bay in the reclaimer) it also costs munch less in game, about 7 millions for 2 Vultures and a caterpillar compared to 15 millions for the reclaimer so twice the price, just need some cohesion but it's very cool

    10:55 It just occurred to me - all they'd need to do to fix the awkward angle of the cat's tractor beam relative to the holds is to, firstly, show a wireframe overlay of the room your tractor'd item has entered along with the boxes in that room, and secondly allow the beam to bend around walls for the cargo hold of their attached ship (explaining it with some sort of 'beam repeater' in the cargo hold). I think quite a few ships will need this, and I feel it's more practical than needing someone in the holds with a handheld tractor to get the crates sorted.
