I think Ty deserves a hefty raise this year. That man puts in some serious work keeping all those wheels moving.
That saved me some typing.
Maybe he is already remunerated handsomely? Also, he would have a fair bit of flexibility in his work hours due to the amount of overtime he does and he gets to work with some really good guys. His working conditions are pretty freakin' sweet. That's worth a lot in the real world.
Just a crazy thought but maybe dont count other peoples money? Ty obviously gets paid very well to have left working for nascar to come work for cleet

It makes huge sense to me to have the core engines for Leroy, Ruby and Mullet be the same, and at least one spare engine.
The way they break stuff probably need a backup engine and trans for every car 😂 . Curious to see how this turbo4 honey holds up with cleeter abuse.

Leroy should always have the best engine! I know Ruby, and now Mullet, have become faster than Leroy, but Leroy is still the King of the channel and will always remain so.
I can’t be the only one that’s been wanting Leroy to get back out there and go after the GM stick record again. Even tho grub worm brought it down to low 7s

Ty has been the camera guy and narrator for a couple videos and his knowledge is crazy but more importantly he was able to clearly explain what, why and how....seems like a natural. His own channel (or Cleetus sub channel) would be great to watch.

I'm excited that Leroy is still getting some love. That car has been down that track so many times, we all know it's tried and true and has stood that test of time. It's awesome to see they still have goals for it. And btw I agree with all the comments about how much of a keeper Ty is. He's very very talented. Protect him at all costs. Can't wait to see the build videos on Leroy! I'm pumped!

They don't need an SMX. That's 4,500+ hp. Besides Leroy running away at 60 psi and 3,000 hp, they peak at 1,900 on Mullet.
I think mullet should keep its current package until it hits 6.99 then it's time to go SMX..

@@Carlosfreedomadventures Cooper isn't on the channel but once in a blue moon and usually makes a fool out of himself. Drift night he did burnouts and doughnuts. Xmas tree race he almost wrecked both passes and only won one because the other car couldn't even do a burnout in water.

George is the best edition to the shop, he brings energy, charisma and positivity all the time. He's an asset to any team... know's his place on the hierarchy on the food chain and never tries to upstage the main star, Cleetus. Good job George.

It makes me happy to see you going to a conventional trans setup in leroy but I think you should solid axle the back right now because you will just end up doing it in the future anyways. Been saying you need to do this for years now

Ty's shirt idea "if it's not the windshield cut it out", with a welder's mask mig torch and cut off wheel grinder around the edges, Sam "DO NOT scratch my paint", with a buffer and wax bottle, Zach "You load it I'll drive it" with the Eagle force one two car trailer, and White Buffalo hooked up(even thought white buffalo is now James's truck) or "I'll lube it you drive it" with an oil bottle and grease gun. had to back and forth to get everyone's name right and what they contribute

First test for the new floor: Lift the rear of the Blazer with a floor jack and roll it on the jack wheels!
Lol that would destroy it, our shop has white metallic color hardener, polished to 3000 grit, you can do it with that but never an epoxy floor
I have a really good bad idea, pull the engine from Mullet, install the Mullet engine in Ruby, order SMX for Mullet. I want to see an SMX in a car like mullet.

Put a proline engine in mullet. But cleat has a connection with Steve Morris so that would ruin that
Proline engines are badass, But a SMX has won DragWeek, not a Proline that I’m aware of

I feel that George should be utilizing his porting skills on all the units . He knows he can play with those heads abit more 😉
the reason cnc ported heads are better is because all the ports are the same, you can get close with hand porting and a flow bench but for tuning reasons its nice to have every cylinder flowing the same.
Leroy is the true origin story for Cleetus. This beautiful freedom machine deserves to be in a museum 🇺🇸
