- MrBeast is arguably the biggest content creator on the planet. His videos get more views than the Super Bowl, and yet he is "constantly stressed about money" and "doesn't make money from his videos". If MrBeast isn't making money from his videos and he's stressed about money, what hope do the rest of us have? Today we need to react to a video that I want to show you-and unpack why most content creators have the wrong business model. Let's discuss.
Chapters:
00:00 Introduction
03:12 The Wrong Business Model for Content Creators
06:08 MrBeast's Success with Selling His Own Products
15:38 Nurturing the Audience and Offering Strategic Products
26:41 Conclusion
Takeaways:
-Most content creators have the wrong business model, focusing on building a large audience to attract brand deals and sponsorships.
-MrBeast has found success by selling his own products, which provides more control, scalability, and profit.
-Content creators should focus on nurturing their audience and offering strategic products to generate sustainable and scalable income.
-Diversifying income streams through affiliate promotions and strategic partnerships can also be beneficial. - บันเทิง

I just find it hard to believe he’s stressed about money.
Mr Beast has always said that he will reinvest everything. He has a huge payroll, his last video building 100 houses. that video cost millions and millions to make whether you making a ton of YT and sponsors you still got to find the revenue to reinvest. problems multiply the bigger you get.
I agree, and so much is riding on each of his videos. He's literally the biggest channel, everyone looks up to him as the epitome of success. I wouldn't want that pressure.
@simplifygardening
He's stressed about success and about the types of videos he has set himself up to have to make. He's gonna crazy with money and isn't a good case study. @HerHealthyHome
Not sure if you saw the video by Alex Hormozi where he discusses talking to Mr. Beast about his video production. They spend millions for each video and it takes more than 30 days to plan and shot each video. It's like a whole production network. He's made a monster of a nightmare business because he has to top each video to keep the ruse of success up.
Thanks for the video Graham! I feel bad for Mrbeast, he's such a good guy, but he's built a business that runs his life instead of the other way around
Thank you Graham. This is so good. I am constantly listening to/reading things that belittle me for wanting a "Lifestyle" business. To me that means a business where I have $250,000-$2,000,000 with VA's and only 1 or 2 staff (IF ANY)! and an 80+ margin in 10 hours a week and freedom to do it from anywhere. Instead, they are pushing the so-called dream of building a business that makes $10,000,000 with 40 employees, 10% margins, and say that if you are not working 60+ hours you're not hustling enough. Geesh. Leave your Bro-preneur in your leased Lambo and let me spend time with my family on the beach in Portugal for the summer. LOL
Not saying that Mr. Beast is a Bro-preneur. Just saying that I hear that mentality from so many other so called expert 'hustlers'
Mic Drop!
@@NiceGuyEntrepreneurs You nailed it... The "Lifestyle" business is the way to go. (hope you got my other IG message).
Been watching you since the recording revolution!! Thanks bro 🙌🏽💯
Thanks for the support!
Me too!
I know it's not the point, but you definitely *could* do a shampoo commercial, Graham. Your hair is fabulous. 😀
🤣🤣
Thank you Graham, this is gold. My biggest takeaway is: your audience is your asset.
My business model, for now, is music streams. it is working but it's also a loss because the profit doesn't cover the time and money I've invested(for now)
...excuse my English I try to explain what I think
You just gave me so many ideas. I also love digital products.
This is so good... hope you add it to one of your slides for your upcoming workshop... The "Lifestyle" business is the way to go. I agree with Shane.
Graham, can you share your suite of products, starting from beginning and going forward? I am not sure where I have started and stopped with your content, but I would like to figure out where I should be. Thanks!
They are in transition right now 🙂 Right now it's a few online courses, private coaching, mastermind weekends, and affiliate income. Books and speaking are picking up too. More changes coming in 2025
Love this! Especially the 'nuturting your audience' section. I need to get my sketching course up and running. Thank Graham for always sharing your wisdom.
This was a great episode Graham!! Thank you so much. Insightful. Encouraging. Most of all challenging me to keep moving forward
This is so thoughtful. I got a lot from reading your book this month.
I’ve been an actor for two decades and I originally was creating content for actors. But I don’t think most actors have the budget to spend on products. Your audience generally has money to hit that sweet spot price point you mention in your book.
I was amazed how much you made doing music engineering content.
How do you find other niches to serve? Or should I just serve this niche as I have the knowledge?
Every niche can make you money. Just as long as there are problems people need solving and are actively looking for solutions to.
This was a great reminder about what makes a great product. It starts with the creator's passion. If you lose your passion, you then lose your audience, and then lastly your product.
Bingo!
I’ve really benefited from your videos thank you 🙏🏽
You're so welcome!
I love the idea of a small fan base! At the moment I have an online community and am working on my first course.
Good stuff - Graham - Thank you! You're always on point, smooth delivery, very glad I found you for insight, concepts, and systems. You deserve every dollar you make. Peace! 🤟
You are too kind - thank you!
Great share G. Thanks for making this video and providing insights and guidance on how to keep the focus and stay on track. Just proves that all that glitters isn't gold and in the end we have to choose the sustainable path that works for us or risk selling out to $$
Hi Graham
I am a loyal fan of your podcast, half way through your book and based on that I started recording free content yet to post them and building the lead magnet now. You are doing great work by helping us achieve our dreams by breaking our self doubt. If you pick one of your students or followers and help him/her in a video to clear their path to create their online business from where they are now. I know I am asking for too much 😅 but it will be of huge help to us who cannot afford AIA or mastermind.
Mr Beast has the perfect opportunity to be the Russell Brunson of video production. He may want to transition to producing videos for others or teaching others how to have high-level productions. He has the whole framework to do this.
Me Beast should start an Amazon competitor.
Great video title and thumbnail!
Thanks!
People think that TH-camrs make a lot of money. But the majority of them really don't.
It's sad but true...
This was very insightful. I appreciate your take on this clip. Interesting and engaging individual. This is my first video I have seen from you. Thank you for sharing!
Isn’t this the guy that had that music channel?
Great info Graham.
Glad it was helpful!
If he’s stressed about money then he needs Dave Ramsey. Especially with what he brings in.
Good stuff!
I really appreciate how transparent Mr Beast has been. This is the side of success that people need to see more of. Thanks for bringing this forward, Graham.
Yes! One of my favorite things about him. So refreshing.
Can't get any better advice from ANYONE. From the person who is actually doing it. LISTEN UP PEOPLE. Play it over and over until you get it.Wish I could press like 100 times.
I read a report many years ago that put a lot of this into perspective. Products and services are sold to and collect money from buyers. Those selling the products and services take a portion of that money and pay ad agencies / brokers / affiliates to create and place ads to sell them. A portion of the money paid to the agencies, etc. is then paid to ad networks to run the ads created. A portion of THAT money is paid to content creators to place the ads near their content. In this "food chain" of advertising, content creators are the lowest rung on the ladder and get the least amount of money resulting from the sale of products and services. If you want to live well, find a way to get to the top of the food chain. Ideally with a digital product that can be sold to millions of people with no cost of duplication.
Well said!
Fire brother!🔥 As, always!!
Thanks 🔥
I have bought a Mr Beast burger, it was really good and a fast delivery. Selling your own things makes sense 👍🏾
Good to hear it tasted good!
Your hair game is almost as on point as your content. And that's saying something. Thanks for always being a voice of wisdom in a constantly changing economic environment.
Greatest TH-cam comment I've ever received😂
@@GrahamCochrane now that's high praise! Dreaming of the day I can afford your coaching and be mentored by one of the best.
I love your videos. A little constructive critisizism, the audio has no reason to be gated.
It creates this uncomfortable and stressful vibe that's hard to describe.
An expander would be a lot better option if the breaths are an issue
Otherwise the audio sounds great!
very good
he is rich.look at his h6
Simplified what to focus on to enjoy the process and make money. Thanks! GLU- The Good Life for Us
😅❤YES YES YES 🎉I'm just beginning to make my mini courses
