- Led bulbs can fail in many ways. It may burn, break or break the wires. Soldering is required to repair led bulbs. However, in some cases, we can repair led bulbs without soldering or welding, using various materials. I started buying LED bulbs about 10 years ago to replace my old CFLs. They are MUCH more reliable than CFLs, and certainly much longer lasting and cooler than incandescents. The only problem I have ever had with any of them are the cheap recessed ones from China. All of the rest are still working. The problem with the Chinese LEDs are exactly what is shown in your video, the driver circuit fries out. Another thing I have done to prevent bulbs from burning out is to add a whole house surge protector, which cost about $80, a home Depot Black Friday special. It was tricky to wire it into the outdoor breaker box, but it has proven to be a worthy investment. I haven't had any weird electronic bulb failures since installing it, except with the cheap Chinese recessed LEDs.
Great ideas if your trying to save money. But with the bulbs not costing that much I'd just buy a new one.
When and if the supply chain is disrupted this will come in handy.

Shorting dead Leds with a loose connection is a terrible idea and can be a fire hazard as the power supply circuit will be overloaded.

Не выдержавший этих условий светодиод сгорает и замкнув его мы заставляем оставшиеся светодиоды работать с повышенным током !
Лучше вместо перемычки ставить сопротивление.

reminds me of when people use to put a penny behind a blown screw in fuse in a house fuse box that was a dangerous fire hazard just like jumping across leads like this video shows there is a reason they are not like that when you buy them this is not a good idea

Получаю лампочку которая будет светить верой и правдой более 10 лет.

Video should be called how to repair a LED bulb with a coke can, however it would be much easier to just solder a normal diode or a new led and fix it for real
I would be simpler to go to the cabinet, get a new bulb, and replace the whole thing. Unless time is of no value, and you like repairing stuff. And, why didn't they fix the bulb that they took the supply out of, and couldn't they use a led from that bulb to fix the other? Dang, I confused myself, yep, just change the bulb.
