Huge help. Mine was just completely unplugged and because of it only the high beams worked. I thank you for your work🙏 very useful video and saved a huge headache 🙏 again huge thank you for this video
@RealWorldGarage Awesome. So my tail lights quit on us and the signals seemed to have as well. I've replaced the entire fixtures and rewired them properly. As far as I can see anyway. The brake lights work, and so to the signals. Just not at the same time. The signals only flash when the tail lights are off. The signals up front as well as the running lights and headlights are all fine. I'm sure this is a basic electronics issue but I can't seem to narrow it down. I really appreciate your time.
@@ryanperry29 this is usually an indicator of a bad ground issue. Make sure the tail light wiring to ground is to shiny metal, and tight, using ring terminals. Make sure any connections are secured and no corrosion. Use a little dilectric grease in the bulb sockets and on any electrical connections, this helps keep out moisture and prevents corrosion in the future.
There should be a flasher unit located underneath the steering column or on the fuse panel, I don’t think they had deviated from that set up in 99. If they light up but don’t flash, it’s likely the flasher. If they don’t light up at all check fuses. It’s possible the multi function switch is defective.
Thank you so much for sharing and helping headaches before they happen

Wonder if this will fix mine.. all lights work in front, but the back only the red light work but not the turn signals or flashers on it ;-;
This is probably not the fix for that.
