I really enjoyed the 3DS/Wii version of Amazing Spider-Man. I don't care that it's not open world, not every game needs to be. It's still a fun level based action adventure game. As for Amazing Spider-Man 2 I can absolutely appreciate that developer High Voltage Software (Mortal Kombat X, Iron Man 2) made it from the ground up for the system and made it a 2.5D action platformer (many good Spidey games are 2D), but the problem is that there's just no spark to any of it. Everything is so lifeless, so barren and the level designs are very cookie cutter. The only real positives I can give it is that it has a solid line up of villains to fight (Shocker, Kraven, Electro, Green Goblin & Carnage), but the problem is that they're EXTREMELY easy to defeat. Also it has a good amount of suits to unlock and equip Spidey with. They don't give you any perks, but at least they're there to use.
From what I played and what I can tell, Lego Avengers is the best of all of these. This was well done and looked good. Too bad it's a Lego game. Spiderman Edge of Time is pretty solid, a full console game experience. Too bad, it didn't feature the 3DS C Stick for camera. And the animations in battle are almost stop motion.
Avengers!
*ASSEMBLE*
This is giving me nostalgia
This channel is underrated

I had no idea there was a Japanese only marvel game
Before I did the research for this video, I also had no idea! Hehehe
it's based on the anime which is pretty good btw. Like a mix of pokemon and avengers
One thing i hate is that marvel stoped doing movie based games for individual heroes like thor god of thunder iron man 2 the amazing spiderman etc
