Thanks, I was a bit daunted because the fuel filter sits further back than on the 1st generation i30. That just had a manual pump to prime the fuel filter, but hey, why keep it simple when you can make it more complicated?
Hi, do you need to reset something over diagnostic after removing (adding) the battery and removing (adding) Board Computer? Does the radio work normally and another things in the vehicle? Can you do it also without diagnostic tool after all this replacement. Thanks..
Nothing will need resetting. Newer cars don’t loose radio codes etc.. You can do it without a fuel line bleed with diagnostic. Few cranks and it should start, it can also help if you pre fill the filter with fuel or fuel additive

Cycle the ignition a few times to try and get some fuel in the filter. Then just turn it over, it may stall a couple of times until you get the fuel through
Hi, I fitted new diesel filter on a Ceed, same setup. But when I try crank the engine I just hear the fuel pump noise when I turn the key to start, but the engine won’t crank,. Any ideas?

Yes you will just have to keep turning the vehicle over

Double check that you connected everything back up properly
Any issues when reconnecting the battery with the car losing any settings etc or is it all ok?

There’s one in the tank (fuel sender) and a high pressure pump on the engine
