Super super useful, informative and detailed. Thank you! A couple differences on our 2011 Touring: (1) The big metal collar/ring that holds in the fuel pump was not fastened in by a bunch of 8 mm bolts instead it was threaded. Remove by putting a screwdriver in one of the holes and tapping the ring counterclockwise, once unthreaded the fuel pump pops up as in the video. (2) Once you get everything apart on the bench, there was also an o-ring and plastic spacer underneath the fuel filter, that had to be transferred over. So one o-ring on top as shown in this video, plus one [o-ring + plastic spacer] underneath
You scored on this one! As you know, some vehicles you have to pull out the tank because the manufacturer is too cheap to outlay the couple of cents it costs to cut an access panel in the floor. Good job as usual! 😊

And one said under cer by where feet are when driving.. and if that's the location is there like a secret compartment that opens up so you can access it kind of like the fuel tank pump cover.... Hello and thank you for this very informative video. I own a 2013 Hyundai Tucson w/105,000 miles. The car has started feeling sluggish when accelerating at times and also takes longer to start car ( I need to hold key during ignition a bit longer). Are these signs of a bad fuel pump or filter? Do you recommend to change filter and or pump because of mileage? Im willing to replace fuel pump assembly assuming that its easier and not have to take old existing assembly apart to access filter. Thank you for your help and opinion.
I had the filter replaced at a mechanics shop however there is a problem with the fuel gauge/float in that it doesn't move or indicate how much fuel is in the tank....appreciate any advice
I had the filter in my 2018 Hyundai Tuscon replaced by a mechanic however it now seems the fuel gauge or float is not working and is stuck in the full position although the tank is only half full...appreciate any advice

How often should an In tank fuel filter be replaced
