In the past 7 years the same 3 people have made multiple vids/testimonials about this recoil pad. Wonder why no one else has?
I added a Falcon Strike to my Benelli Nova and it made an amazing difference in lessened recoil. I called the company and was able to speak to the owner (Martin) on two occasions, and he helped me to order the custom fit for the Nova. It’s on the expensive side, but if you shoot a good bit then it’s well worth the cost.
Great you are shooting with your son! I’m sold, I have conneticut classics over under sporting clays gun, 12 gauge, that kicks the heck out of me! I’m gonna try that recoil pad! Thanks for your video! I’m hoping to shoot that gun more now!

Great video! Love the Franchi Affinity 3! Have shot one before and I thought the inertia driven would recoil more than the gas-operated Beretta Outlander I was shooting also! But the Franchi came out ahead! I LOVE them!😁👍🤙

The Affinity 3 20 ga Compact comes with shorter LOP and shims to adjust LOP. Might be an easier gun on which to mount a Falcon Strike.
Man I have a stoeger side by side coach gun I love that gun I have a long history with it carried it on the ranch along with my 2 lever action 45 colts and pair of uberti 45 colt saa shooters for years and years but I was welding farm equipment it slipped off the jack and crushed my shoulder now the recoil of that sxs is to painful I may have to look into a pad for it

Based on your recommendation, I just ordered the Falcon Strike for my my daughter who is a competitive trap shooter. Can’t wait to see how well it works.

I really wish Franchi would ditch the TSA recoil pad on the standard Affinity line of shotguns. That proprietary dogleg bend just makes it impossible to put any other type of pad on it, and the Franchi produced pads are almost never in stock.
Hey Steve. I have a question that I haven't seen you address in any of your "teaching a kid to shoot" or "reducing recoil" series. I have a child who is interested in shooting, but the compact pump actions are just a little too much of a kick for him. I will be getting a semi-auto compact. I fully plan on buying the Falcon Strike, but have not decided on the SX4 compact or the Affinity 3 Compact. I have heard that the inertia driven systems (Franchi Affinity) sometimes have troubles with cycling if the gun does not have enough support (e.g. held tightly enough on the shoulder) whereas the gas system (SX4) doesn't seem to have this problem. The question is this: If the Falcon Strike is reducing the recoil by absorbing it into the pad which then expands out, thus making the support a little more unstable, have you seen this as a problem? Would you suspect that the gas system would be more reliable than the inertia due to the above assumptions?
Great question. Did you see the Showdown video I make between the SX4 compact and the Affinity 3 compact? If you haven't seen that one, I recommend you check it out. If you have more questions after watching the showdown video, let me know, but for now, I have seen no issues with the Affinity 3 cycling after putting on the FalconStrike.

What are the odds? I just had wondered if you had seen any issues creep up after the video now that it has been shot a little more. Big purchases require a little investigation before making them. Here in NZ lots of blokes purchase light 20g semis for their kids to shoot ducks and they still get beaten about. I assume that some of this is due to the light weight of a 20g and heavy hunting loads (not forgetting proper gun mount etc). Recoil is the worst for putting kids off shotguns. I wonder whether a youth sized 12g with light loads would be a better option especially as it is likely to get years more use?? How does Rylan find using a 12g with oz loads, for example, compared with the 20g?? Love to get your thoughts. Cheers!
Thank you for the comment. The big thing that a lot of smaller/younger kids deal with is the weight and length of the gun. Rylan shot a Winchester SX4 20ga compact but he chose the Franchi Affinity 3 over the Winchester because it was shorter and lighter, making it easier for him to shoot, even though it had a little more felt recoil. I have shot the Winchester SX4 12 and 20 and the 20ga has significantly less felt recoil. When you jump up to waterfowl loads there is no way around it, there is going to be recoil, but if you have a kid that has a good amount of experience shooting targets, they should be better off with the mount and overall operation of the gun. Throwing one of these Falcon Strike pads on could also go a long ways is helping reduce felt recoil. 👊 Stay Target 🎯Focused (Hebrews 12:1-3)

Well I like falcon strike alot more than rubber pads with metal plates and hollows and believe me those things never work along with foam pad that never dissipate recoil energy seriously those foam and rubber pads sucked.
The idea is great. However, $180 for a recoil pad that doesn’t fit the stock correctly and increase your LOP.
