I saw West, Bruce And Laing at the Hollywood Palladium on November 24,1972 and I"m 66 years old now and I remember the powerful sound of Jack's Singing Voice! His Voice would pervade through the Ballroom! I'll never forget a young lady fan standing next to me shouting and pleading Jack! Jack! It was my first ever "Live" concert!
An era when one need not look far to find extraordinary music, played by extraordinary musicians. Today it's nearly impossible; the industry force-feeding Pop down the paying public's throat, and ignoring anything that doesn't sound the same. Thank God for these recordings to remind us of our wildly fortunate youth.
Jack Bruce and Mick Taylor seem to work really well together on this one. What a shame this lineup lasted such a short time. This isn't commercial music - it's fusion-rock , but they make it sound great.
Gosh, this is some 21 months before its parent LP How's Tricks would be released. Keep the people waiting and wanting more! What a stunning performance. Bless you Jack.
Love the hell out of this one! Beautiful presentation, and the band interacted in a most respectful way. Mick played the intricate stuff with respect and attention, as, really, they all did. Carla is every inch a master at her craft. She was the mortar holding the space together. Jack was… humble and respectful… Top form. ✌️✌️
This is precious. Recorded not too long after the 1974 Out Of The Storm album, but this song opened the Jack Bruce Band album in 1977 - first song on side 1. I would love to view live video of "Into The Storm" - one of my favorite Bruce/Brown tunes. Brown's lyrics are inspiring.
@@TomlinskyThat’s a large reason why Taylor left; he was not musically stirred or challenged enough with the Stones. In other words, he felt his growth as a musician was thwarted by playing in a band without much variety. However, he could have played with Jack’s band of misfits and still retained membership with the Stones. Mick and Keith offered him several months off and really wanted him to stay. Whether Taylor left due to musical boredom, lack of songwriting royalties, or tired of the hedonistic life, his time with Jack was brief and volatile. Some claim Taylor escaped the Stones to save his marriage and health (due to his increasing heroin addiction), but Jack was a more cantankerous junkie than anyone in or associated with the Stones.
A Master at the top of his game ... awesome!
Without being the greatest bass player in the world he is 100% one of my favourites.
Jack Bruce is so dang 🥵! I LOVE his voice ~ 1st time seeing this and I like. Mick Taylor’s playing is beautiful. Thank you
Jack Bruce war ein großartiger Sänger

Once again, the restoration is beautifully done. Thank You. I was fortunate to have seen this band in 75

Mick Taylor really found a new place to explore his idea with new number, his guitar solo is great & mind blowing.., love it.
Jack Bruce isn't new to me, but this, this is new to me. Love it!

The one and only. Superlative. Always. Thanks for sharing.
A revolutionary force in rock and roll, with his base playing and his vocals.
And his trousers.
Bass playing, not Base 😂
Saw this fabulous musician in 1989 in Solana Beach. Miss him so...❤🎵🎶

Boy is this a treat! thanks so much for this upload.
Cream war eine großartige Band
Taylor left the Stones for this
I imagine, after a while, a man of his musical ability needs something a bit more complex than the equivalent of a nursery rhyme to stay interested.

Yes and he won big time he was jack's apprentice in this band
Espetacular!!!!
That million dollar voice!
This is off the album, How’s Trix? That title sing itself is a masterpiece!
Million dollar voice... I totally agree... Great album...one of the best musicians ever... 😇
It was all that his Whisky and Porridge his parents fed him up here in Glasgow 😅
Hello there, fantastic channel, congratulatios - will you upload SMILES AND GRINS, the last track of this concert
Yes, we will upload that one as well

What bass is he playing?
Dan Armstrong
These players are all upper echelon.
This totally sux balls. I don't care that it's Jack Bruce and Mick Taylor.... it's got everything but anything good. Totally forgettable.
