It's surreal seeing the journey Merphy has been on since 2020. From starting manga to reading One Piece and becoming so engrossed into the medium. It's great to see.
I second the Chainsaw Man recommendation. It is one of the most tragic stories, yet very memorable and completely misrepresented by many others. People used to refer to it as the "boob manga" but that does not do it justice at all. Denji, the main character, is searching for love and acceptance. And he is very stunted emotionally and mentally because of his upbringing.
My manga reccs for Merph: - Tokyo Ghoul (has a bad rep cuz of the terrible anime adaptation but the manga is incredible and up there with the best) - deals with the struggle of humans living in a world where they're being hunted by Ghouls, and the struggle of Ghouls trying to find a way to coexist with humans while needing them for sustinance. So in that way it's similar to AOT even thought they're very different series - My Dearest Self With Malice Aforethought - psychological mystery following the son of a serial killer trying to live a normal student life despite who his father is, until one day he wakes up with no recollection of the past 3 days and slowly discovers what he has been up to during that time. I know you're not a fan of amnesia tropes but this series does is SO well you gotta check it out
My top 10 faves 1. One Piece 2. Kingdom (close to number one but OP has more variety in tones) 3. Vagabond 4. Hunter x Hunter 5. Berserk 6. Vinland Saga 7. Jojo's Bizzare Adventure (especially part 7) 8. Yu Yu Hakusho (YYH English Dub is my favorite anime ever. Like it even more the HxH manga) 9. yu yu hakusho is a gem. Imo it has the highest highs I’ve seen in any shonen anime to date, some of the moments are unparalleled. That cave fight against sensui and yusuke dying is one of the most emotionally charged scenes I’ve seen in an anime, even more than one piece due to how dark that arc as a whole has been. It’s a masterclass in character work that I think is ironically only matched but togashi’s other work, hxh and some scenes in jojo.
She has tried Berserk, and spoken to friends who love the story about it's content, and came to the conclusion that this story wasn't for her (Merphy has hard line for stories that cross her personal triggers for child abuse and sexual assault)
Yeah, she probably wont read it. It starts out much darker than Vinland and Vagabond, but if she can skip over Black Swordsman arc the Golden Age is almost perfect.
I love that you pointed out Toriyama’s art in DB/DBZ. He was an absolute MASTER at portraying action in an easy to follow way. I didn’t realize how great he was until I read other manga and was so confused as to what was happening during action scenes.
@@devanshisharma2447 I think their more than different enough that they shouldn't be compared. Their both incredible and have very different purposes for being written. Am glad to see some Claymore love though!
If you love Jojo humor then Golden Kamuy is the manga/anime for you. It has insane and funy "WHAT?????" moments. AND despite the absurd humor, just like Jojo it has many moments that will make you emotional
This is a great list, and your love for each series shows. I've read/watched most of everything on your list so mayhaps I'm a little biased. I have the same top 3 as well lol. I am sort of curious which series were good and close to making your list but didn't, kind of like a best of the honorable mentions. I will have to go back and check out your tier list as well. Thanks for the video!
Merphy I BEG you to add Yotsuba To to your TBR! It’s the best little slice of life manga about a wee girl and her dad - it’s what convinced me to become a father when I was on the fence about it. I think as a fellow parent (if I’m not mistaken) you’d dig it a lot!
2007 was the first and, at the time, last manga I read. I also DNF'd it. Then comes Murphy crying over One Piece and I gave it a go. I shall be all caught up soon after a year of reading. Then Frieren, which I love though I just watched the anime.
Someone's probably already recommended this, but Sakamoto Days action sequences and fight scenes are some of the most beautiful and easy to follow I've read in a while. It's very dynamic but not at the cost of poor illustration and confusing details. Pretty compelling protag/supporting cast and decent story as well!
My Top 5- 1. Berserk ( A piece of Art ) 2. Attack On Titan ( easily one of the greatest stories ever told & one of the best show of this generation ) 3. Slam dunk/Vagabond ( same author, inspirational ) 4. Oyasumi punpun ( modern classic tragedy) 5. One piece ( quintessential shounen )
I'd highly recommend Gintama based on your list, it's very absurdist and has some really bizarre humor but also some of the most emotional scenes that are just so real and hits you in the feels. And the anime is the way to go for this show, the voice acting is just spectacular and brings out the humor of the characters really well. It does have a bit of a slow start but it's very worth the long journey! This is my favorite show of all time so I might be a bit biased but it's one of the best things to watch when having an off day too, it just has every genre you could want except romance (very little) but you don't enjoy that. Also one of the best ever executions of a found family which I know you love. It can wait for a while tho since Gintama tends to get better the more anime/manga you have watched since you can get more of the references
Gintama is one of the best out there. Ginktoki's characterization is so well done, the Farewell Shinsengumi arc is spectacular, so many stellar openings, Zura is the best strategist 😂. Kagura might possibly be the best written female character in shonen. Sadaharu is also the best dog in manga. I don't even know what the funniest moment is, since there are so many! The voice acting might be the best I've seen for an ensemble cast.
I didn't know merphy from the start of mangas journey but i was there for the transition towards a full mangas enjoyer and it was a great experience Many more to come for you ( the day you start to read some Light novels will be a day to be remembered )
your list is awesome for my list 1.one piece 2.undead unluck 3.kagubachi 4.Edens zero 5. dr stone 6.dbs 7. all of fairytail 8. akane banashi love this hobby it fun seeing different approaches on manga
I think you'll love YuYuHakusho. It's by the author of HunterxHunter, but before he wrote HxH. Like, HxH it starts off as one thing but then quickly evolves into new things as stuff comes up. I think you'll be able to notice some similar characters as well. It was the anime/manga that did the 'tournament arc' so well that it became a thing other anime and manga wanted to have. Only takes a couple eps or 3 to get you hooked and is one of the few anime where I love the dub more than the sub.
Have really enjoyed watching your journey into manga and anime, you helped revitalise my love of One Piece and got me in to Frieren and Spy Family. I’d love to see you branch into webcomics/manwha (broadly Korean manga). Especially Tower of God, Omniscient Reader and the Greatest Estate Developer. I think you’d genuinely love all three.
My personal Top 10 1. Hunter x Hunter 2. One Piece 3. Attack on Titan 4. Delicious in Dungeon 5. Chainsaw Man 6. Assassination Classroom 7. Colette Decides to Die 8. The Apothecary Diaries 9. A Sign of Affection 10. Spy x Family
My Top series are: 1. One Piece 2. Yu Yu Hakusho(english dub anime) 3. Attack on Titan 4. Vinland Saga 5. Made in Abyss (especially the anime) 6. Death Note 7. Beserk 8. Full Metal Alchemist
if you want an easy suggestion for next year, just talk about all the stuff you dropped and ask the comments to encourage you to pick one of them back up. gives something a second chance and gives everyone the chance to influence the future so to speak
My top 10 : 1. One Piece 2. Attack on Titan 3. Hunter x Hunter 4. Kingdom 5. Berserk 6. Chainsaw man 7. Vagabond 8. Vinland Saga 9. Jojo's Bizzare Adventure 10. Shaman King
I've read a lot of older (pre-2018) manga, but have never really felt compelled to buy physical copies unless i really loved it. So I'll have to list the ones i actually bought as my favorites, which are 1) Berserk 2) Hinamatsuri Next closest would be Haikyuu and Oyasumi PunPun but i didnt like them enough to get physical copies.
Loved the list Mephy. If i had to recommend one since you mentioned a love for chaos in stories. Id strongly say Berserk is a privilege to read. Its brutally dark at points, but the journey is other worldly. Even the *ART* alone is worth it.
She has already tried Berserk, and spoken to friends who love the story about it's content, and came to the conclusion that this story wasn't for her (Merphy has hard line for stories that cross her personal triggers for child abuse and sexual assault)
kono oto tomare has been my obsession this year, hope you have the chance to see it merphy! congrats on another year of falling in love with mangas, here for many more.
As a massive JoJo fan, I have to say that the series is not for everybody. Especially if you're looking for story and characters, it can feel undercooked at times. But if you just turn your brain off and enjoy the absurdity, then it's the greatest thing ever.
@booksandtropes Read the manga, but make sure to check out the anime's opening and ending songs. I love the anime's OST and voice acting, but I think the pacing is handled much better in the manga, and you also get to see Araki's art evolve. The manga also provides you with some cool information, such as character profiles.
Man I'd love for Merphy to read Land of the Lustrous. The anime is is phenomenal but only covers half of the manga but manga is finished and the story is immaculate.
Land of the Lustrous is the kind of story where you don't know where it's going at all. Phos is one of the best written main characters I've ever seen. There are some absolutely memorable manga panels that are breathtaking.
Here's some other good manga: One-Punch Man, Kingdom, My Hero Academia, The Breaker, Kaiji, The Flowers of Evil, Erased, Great Teacher Onizuka, Oyasumi Punpun, Welcome to the Ballroom, Bakuman, Gantz, Tokyo Ghoul, Kokou no Hito, Devil Blues, The Fable, Mashle, Beck.
I agree, One Piece week by week has been less enjoyable than when I was just catching up to it. Also still my #1 manga though and I'm into Jojo's, HxH and AoT
My top ten is kinda similar 1. One piece 2. Naruto 3. Aot 4.mha 5. Yuyu hakusho 6. Full metal alchemist 7. Hunter x Hunter 8. Dragon ball 9. Jojo 10. Neon genesis
I love that youve really upgraded your manga catalogue. You have beeen hitting a lot of the classics and Its beautiful to see an adult actually get into manga this late in the game. My vote is still out for you starting One punch man and Kingdom but you will always have my viewership. Keep up the amazing work my g.
A manga you should check out is REAL, which is also made by takehiko inoue. Short but amazing. Has an amazing take on disability and mental health as a whole and how to overcome struggles and hardship
W list, love to see OP, SxF, HxH, Frieren, and VS up there. All some of my favorites too. I hope you will try kingdom manga in the future after seeing the comments lol. Practically everybody who loves one piece absolutely loves kingdom
I think that Fullmetal Alchemist is a manga that really needs to be reread and "mediated on" as its themes of grief, human morality, epistemology, and brotherhood run deeper than I thought. I have yet to read One Piece but can understand people's love for it- I think I might have to take the plunge and read it soon.
@ you know what that’s a good point. I watched the og anime when I was younger then brotherhood as it aired each time thinking it was amazing and getting a better understanding then I finally read it and everything clicked. One piece is my favorite well it and berserk take turns. Not saying one piece is perfect by having it there it has its flaws but I’m an optimistic person and the feeling of hope it gives me as well as themes makes it my favorite.
I'm not sure if it's your speed or not. But Berserk to me stands alone atop my top manga list. It's so beautiful and has some of the best characters in anything. But it has horrors in it and a lot of heavy themes and material.
I haven't read Jojo's though I read part 7 and for the rest have watched the anime and am near the end of part 2 on my manga read through and somewhere I. Part 8 on the other end... but man I love that series! Part 3 is still my favorite but Steel Ball Run is probably the best written part I really hope it gets an anime adaptation.
She has tried Berserk, and spoken to friends who love the story about it's content, and came to the conclusion that this story wasn't for her (Merphy has hard line for stories that cross her personal triggers for child abuse and sexual assault)
@Lynn-CA yeah it's kind of what I figured. It's not an easy read, but my god I think its the best story out there. It just catches so much flak from people who haven't read it and just see the Twotter clips of the violence, sexual assault and come at it for that. Or the people who think ita just hurr durr big man and sword go brrr. But to me the character study that is Gutts and the supporting cast is so incredible! And the one big twist shook me to my core and I will forever hate a certain character lol.
@Lynn-CA yeah Berserk fans while a smaller amount than something like Jojo (which I'm a huge fan of both) we are no less rabid about getting people to read the story haha. But like I said I know the content isn't for everyone cause it is very intense.
You should really try reading holyland. It's not a fantasy manga but it's one of my absolute favorites. The author, Koji Mori is actually overseeing berserk nowadays.
Jojo at 2 is such a nice surprise! Funny thing is after I got into Jojo one piece fell off my #1 very hard because of how innovative Araki is compared to most authors
This kind of list could use some honorable mentions, even just namedropping a handful "in no particular order" gives some context to the actual picks and future recommendations.
Love the list. Some of these are ones I’ve loved for a long time and some I still haven’t gotten around to. Hoping to read all of these one day and seeing where my thoughts align with yours. I think I’ve recommended it before but I still recommend Yu Yu hakusho. The English dub anime is one of the best anime still, but the manga is also fantastic if you’re more into sticking to manga. Amazing story and a lot of elements from this story made it into HxH as well.
if it is ok i will share my top 3: 1. One Piece 2. Hunter x Hunter 3. Attack on Titan and i would say if you re-read Hunter x Hunter it would go up your list at least thats what happend to me after i started to watch Liams (GrandLineReview well in this case NewWorldReview) videos for HxH, i remembered and learned how amazing and deep this series is
Merphy you've GOTTA Open up SOMETHING by Naoki Urasawa. Monster, 20th century boys, Pluto, Billy Bat, anything! Their work blows all of this out of the water, especially if you're a book reader like I know you are. One of the best AUTHORS of the 20th century (lol) imo and they are writing manga.
I definitely think HxH will bump up when you do a re-read. I re-watched the anime countless times but it wasn’t my favorite until like the third re-watch
I want to recommend Undead Unluck, the manga at least since I don’t really watch adapted anime. It seems to be closing in on its ending, but this is like the third time I have thought that so don’t take that as fact. It has a similar chaotic humour to one piece and dragon ball and a power system that, while very different, at times rival nen in my ranking. A quick mostly spoiler free explanation, some people in the world are knowingly or unknowingly negator meaning that they negate a rule of the world. Like one of the main characters Un-dead that negates death meaning everything that would kill him has no permanent effect. He won’t age and will regenerate all damage and can cut off body parts followed by rapid regeneration to shot said body parts as bullets. The other main character Un-luck negates luck, causing accident of varying degrees to anyone that touches her skin or hair.
I've been watching you for a while and I align a lot with your taste, really enjoy your takes on my fav manga but.... I wish for you to one day read the manga which is my profile picture,.. Dorohedoro, it visually might not seem your taste, but I'm sure the world building, characters and humor will easily win you over.
If you combined your top 3 of One Piece, Jojo and Aot, you would get Golden Kamuy. It's such a phenomenal series with the best antagonist cast I've ever seen.
I know week to week on one piece is rough, but I just love the reaction on your video when they got to (spoilers) the Lego world on elbaf, especially because you had just posted a Lego video
I growing up watching db but years ago i try read the manga it’s so impressive how good the fight is in the manga especially after u read one piece manga lol when i read one piece i never bother much to understand what going on just focus on the story and wait for anime for the fight
One the things I found I deeply appreciate about manga/anime like One Piece, Jojo’s, and Dragonball are the fights. Typically when we enter a fight scene in other stories (Avatar being an example), the fights can seem like random space-filler that leads to a revelation or some sort of story beat. With series like OP, Jojo’s, and Dragonball, the fights can have major beats in the story. They can be calculating, have humor, character development, and they have the ability to exhibit the full spectrum of emotions we tend to see in a more narrative-based scene. I do think the fights in these types of series could be studied, adapted, and possibly be revolutionary or groundbreaking for many other types of stories beyond manga and anime. Having said that, I knew you’d love Jojos, but I never thought you’d love it as much as you do. It’s such a different type of series and js genuinely one of the most unique type of stories I’ve seen. Those type of series deserve to be lauded. One Piece is also that type of series. I also want to comment on how great you are at these types of videos. You have a great use of attention-grabbing tools, like using your hands to pull viewers in and create more interesting silhouettes or the annunciation of specific words within a sentence that highlight the tone and feeling of your words. The vulnerability to make mistakes and joke about it, helping the viewer feel more comfortable. And you even do such a great job of picking the right words, where we aren’t getting spoiled and your points are articulate. I’m always super impressed with your content.
Great list! Seeing how much you love the absurdism and over the top nature of One Piece and Jojos I would love to see you check out Kaguya-sama: Love is War one day. It’s personally my favourite anime of all time and honestly the best romcom I’ve read or watched from any medium!

Yes, you joined the prince vegeta royal guard. :D I will never stop loving him :D I hope you read chainsaw man next year. The author's style is very distinct. There is nothing quite like a Fujimoto manga. I am very curious about your take on it.
It's been amazing to see your animanga journey and all the rat behavior that's come from that lol plus love the JoJo journey massively just like when you were going through One Piece.
You probably already heard this. But you should try Berserk(the goat manga) and 20th century boys (from the same guy who made monster). They are both more very aclaimed seinen manga.
Berserk is never happening, Merphy tried it and hated it, and people close to her told her the things she disliked just got worse so it's DNF. People gotta stop asking for it
One gem I would totally recommend is Golden Kamuy. It is so interesting storywise and it gives me a JoJo feeling from time to time for the humor. I just finished it a few weeks ago and I will start over again soon :) Just love it. Also one of my favorites is Berserk though I am not caught up as of now. Another nice one is Bakuman, about some Kids from middle school (I guess it was?) who want to get famous with manga. :) I really like the characters a lot. And I have already seen someone here recommending Dandadan, Dorohedoro and Chainsaw Man and I am agreeing with that :)
I would like to Invite Merphy to Read Bleach and complete the 3 Big Manga Collection (Naruto Bleach One Piece) I got the impression that she is gonna enjoy very deeply some story bits and with the final chapter getting animated with extra scenes and rearrangements and potentially a Final Mix Scenario for Cour 4 next year might be the best moment to get into this series
If you do end up deciding to read through Super down the road, I'll echo that it's a bit mixed early on. The current last two arcs (three if you include Superhero) are easily the best of the series (of Super specifically) imo, though I'd understand not wanting to go through the other stuff to get there. Really enjoying the direction they've srarred to take Vegeta and Frieza (though I'd love if the former was brought there sooner).
I admittedly don't read a lot of manga, but my tiny top 5 list is: 1) Claymore [I can't recommend this to everyone, given the extreme body horror and equally extreme violence, but the story is great and characters are some of the best I've ever seen, and it honestly saved my life at a time I desperately needed it] 2) Natsume's Book of Friends 3) Cardcaptor Sakura 4) RG Veda 5) Persona 3 manga adaptation Top 5 manga I want to read: 1) Yona of the Dawn 2) Witch Hat Atelier [the anime is coming this year, so I'll probably watch it first] 3) Delicious in Dungeon [I'll read this after season 2 of the anime comes out] 4) Vinland Saga 5) Dinosaur Sanctuary Top 3 anime I want to watch: 1) Frieren 2) Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood 3) Oh My Goddess 4) RahXephon 5) Princess Tutu
It's surreal seeing the journey Merphy has been on since 2020. From starting manga to reading One Piece and becoming so engrossed into the medium. It's great to see.

If you are looking for more Jojo-esque stories I would recommend any of Dorehedoro, Chainsawman and Dandadan.
I'd go with Golden kamuy and Dr. Stone since both are pretty unique and bizarre in their own right

1. Berserk ( A piece of Art )
2. Attack On Titan ( easily one of the greatest stories ever told & one of the best show of this generation )
3. Slam dunk/Vagabond ( same author, inspirational )
4. Oyasumi punpun ( modern classic tragedy)
5. One piece ( quintessential shounen )
Berserk, Attack on Titan and Goodnight Punpun are in my top 10 as well (:
one piece in top babyyyyy! loved this video
Bro......Gintama would be....wow I'd love that.
Kingdom 👈👉 Tokyo Ghoul
I didn't know merphy from the start of mangas journey but i was there for the transition towards a full mangas enjoyer and it was a great experience
Many more to come for you ( the day you start to read some Light novels will be a day to be remembered )
your list is awesome for my list
1.one piece
2.undead unluck
3.kagubachi
4.Edens zero
5. dr stone
6.dbs
7. all of fairytail
8. akane banashi
love this hobby it fun seeing different approaches on manga
Love the Mashima appreciation 🙏
Merphy, I respect your list so much, you even put Attack on titan on a higher level, I love it 😱🎃🖤💖🔥🤺
I think you'll love YuYuHakusho. Only takes a couple eps or 3 to get you hooked and is one of the few anime where I love the dub more than the sub.
really good list
Have really enjoyed watching your journey into manga and anime, you helped revitalise my love of One Piece and got me in to Frieren and Spy Family.
I’d love to see you branch into webcomics/manwha (broadly Korean manga). Especially Tower of God, Omniscient Reader and the Greatest Estate Developer. I think you’d genuinely love all three.
I think you would like dorohedoro a lot. Very human characters and just stellar writing
i wish Merphy read Inio Asano and Naoki Urasawa works... bet she would love many of their works...

My Top series are:
1. One Piece
2. Yu Yu Hakusho(english dub anime)
3. Attack on Titan
4. Vinland Saga
5. Made in Abyss (especially the anime)
6. Death Note
7. Beserk
8. Full Metal Alchemist
if you want an easy suggestion for next year, just talk about all the stuff you dropped and ask the comments to encourage you to pick one of them back up. gives something a second chance and gives everyone the chance to influence the future so to speak
I will advocate on every video for Kingdom and Vagabond manga read through.
Im a massive JoJo fan. I'm so glad that you loved it from the very beginning
My top 10 :
1. One Piece
2. Attack on Titan
3. Hunter x Hunter
4. Kingdom
5. Berserk
6. Chainsaw man
7. Vagabond
8. Vinland Saga
9. Jojo's Bizzare Adventure
10. Shaman King
I've read a lot of older (pre-2018) manga, but have never really felt compelled to buy physical copies unless i really loved it. So I'll have to list the ones i actually bought as my favorites, which are
1) Berserk
2) Hinamatsuri
Next closest would be Haikyuu and Oyasumi PunPun but i didnt like them enough to get physical copies.
oh my god , its one of 3 Hinamatsuri fans , I found one!
I really need to read/watch jojo's
So many anime/manga so little time
Great list!!! :)
As a massive JoJo fan, I have to say that the series is not for everybody. Especially if you're looking for story and characters, it can feel undercooked at times. But if you just turn your brain off and enjoy the absurdity, then it's the greatest thing ever.
@ good to know, do you prefer the anime or manga?
@@booksandtropesBoth r great but anime cuz the soundtrack and colors add a lot
@booksandtropes Read the manga, but make sure to check out the anime's opening and ending songs. I love the anime's OST and voice acting, but I think the pacing is handled much better in the manga, and you also get to see Araki's art evolve. The manga also provides you with some cool information, such as character profiles.
@royalfun1031 Part 1 and 3 have atrocious pacing in the anime to be honest. No wonder why so many people think that Part 1 is boring.
full metal alchemist will always be number one in my heart
other than that, i salute your impeccable taste
Man I'd love for Merphy to read Land of the Lustrous. The anime is is phenomenal but only covers half of the manga but manga is finished and the story is immaculate.
Land of the Lustrous is the kind of story where you don't know where it's going at all. Phos is one of the best written main characters I've ever seen. There are some absolutely memorable manga panels that are breathtaking.
Here's some other good manga:
One-Punch Man, Kingdom, My Hero Academia, The Breaker, Kaiji, The Flowers of Evil, Erased, Great Teacher Onizuka, Oyasumi Punpun, Welcome to the Ballroom, Bakuman, Gantz, Tokyo Ghoul, Kokou no Hito, Devil Blues, The Fable, Mashle, Beck.
I agree, One Piece week by week has been less enjoyable than when I was just catching up to it. Also still my #1 manga though and I'm into Jojo's, HxH and AoT
Fingers crossed for Gunnm in the future, peak sci-fi/cyberpunk manga.
My top ten is kinda similar
1. One piece
2. Naruto
3. Aot
4.mha
5. Yuyu hakusho
6. Full metal alchemist
7. Hunter x Hunter
8. Dragon ball
9. Jojo
10. Neon genesis
W list. This almost identical to my favorite top 10 🔥
Practically everybody who loves one piece absolutely loves kingdom
nice list. i think attack on titan and frieren are new from your tier list. nice to see them added.
Great list! Really shocked fma wasn’t higher though
HxH will forever be my favorite manga of all time, was great to see your videos on it
I'm not sure if it's your speed or not.
@@Grimbear13 Believe me, Merphy is well aware as she has so many messages telling her 🤣
And she did try because of that, but it's just not for her.
Merphy, I teaky recommend you D.Gray-Man.
Its such a underated gem.
Jojo at 2 is such a nice surprise! Funny thing is after I got into Jojo one piece fell off my #1 very hard because of how innovative Araki is compared to most authors
You should check out Dorohedoro
I would recommend Blade of the Immortal. It’s a fantastic character driven manga about an immortal samurai and a young woman’s struggle for revenge
Amazing story and a lot of elements from this story made it into HxH as well.
if it is ok i will share my top 3:
1. One Piece
2. Hunter x Hunter
3. Attack on Titan
and i would say if you re-read Hunter x Hunter it would go up your list at least thats what happend to me after i started to watch Liams (GrandLineReview well in this case NewWorldReview) videos for HxH, i remembered and learned how amazing and deep this series is
I kinda hope you do honorable mentions next time. It never hurts knowing more of the series you loved 🙂
She's already read Monster and watched Pluto
For me
1. Kingdom
2. One Piece
3. Monster
4. Vinland Saga
5. Full-metal alchemist
6. Berserk
7. HxH
8. Chainsawman
9. Sakamoto Days
10. The Promised Neverland
If you combined your top 3 of One Piece, Jojo and Aot, you would get Golden Kamuy. It's such a phenomenal series with the best antagonist cast I've ever seen.
My Top Five 2024
1. Blade of the Immortal
2. Attack on Titan
3. Promised Neverland
4. Seraph of the End
5. Soara and the House of Monsters
Nice overview, even if I had to skip half the series, because I still want to watch them, and am afraid of spoilers.
I love that Merphy is giving JoJo's Part 1 its due love. its awesome gothic novel gone shonen bonkers
Love this style of video! Based on your likes I feel like you might really like my favorite shonen, Tegami Bachi (Letter Bee). Merry Christmas!
I will recommend Undead Unluck on every videos from now on untill she read it.
Fully agree! This manga has topped one piece for me, its incredible!
My personal top ten:
1. Death Note (anime)
2. Yu-Gi-Oh! (manga)
3. Dragon Ball
4. Bleach
5. Berserk
6. Bakuman
7. Shiki
8. Shaman King
9. Soul Eater
10. Pluto (anime)
Akira Toriyama is unmatched interms of conveying a fight. Mangaka really should take more inspiration from his panaling and not just everything else.
Kinda sad to see my second favorite series vagabond drop so far, but still really glad you like it.
I can't agree; I believe Avatar fights achieve this just as well, and the same goes for Naruto.

:D I will never stop loving him :D
I hope you read chainsaw man next year.
People gotta stop asking for it
I think she dropped it, wasn't a fan of all the SA and child abuse.
@@LINKedup101 I didn't know she had tried it and didn't like. How the hell im supposed to know.
You need to read Monster. I bet it’ll take that number 1 spot.
She already has read Monster
YOU GOTTA READ KINGDOM NEXT ITS LITERALLY THE SEINEN ONE PIECE 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
It's on her list, and will most likely happen in 2025
If you do end up deciding to read through Super down the road, I'll echo that it's a bit mixed early on.
Jojo part 6 has the best ending I’ve seen in any manga as of recent imo.
Fire list. Mines is (including anime too):

3. Samurai Chanploo
4. Yu Yu Hakusho
5. Death Note
6. Code Geass
7. Hunter x Hunter
8. One Piece
9. Mob Psycho 100
10. Chainsaw man
I admittedly don't read a lot of manga, but my tiny top 5 list is:
1) Claymore [I can't recommend this to everyone, given the extreme body horror and equally extreme violence, but the story is great and characters are some of the best I've ever seen, and it honestly saved my life at a time I desperately needed it]
2) Natsume's Book of Friends
3) Cardcaptor Sakura
4) RG Veda
5) Persona 3 manga adaptation
Top 5 manga I want to read:
1) Yona of the Dawn
2) Witch Hat Atelier [the anime is coming this year, so I'll probably watch it first]
3) Delicious in Dungeon [I'll read this after season 2 of the anime comes out]
4) Vinland Saga
5) Dinosaur Sanctuary
Top 3 anime I want to watch:
1) Frieren
2) Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
3) Oh My Goddess
4) RahXephon
5) Princess Tutu
I still maintain that you would fall in love with "Magi: Labyrinth of Magic"
Merphy you should read NANA and REAL, these two are top 5 contenders without a doubt 🔥🔥🔥
