🎥 I've given myself the challenge to quit Roblox for the day to try out a different game engine called Scratch. It's simple to use and is known for using code blocks that you link together to make the game function, rather than typing out the code yourself.

Cool game! I did make a ping pong game using Scratch at primary school but that was made with my teacher's help. This is much better considering you made it from, 'scratch'! 👍👍

As an advanced scratch developper (or at least without comparing me to griffpatch or Will_Wam), I can tell you it's a pretty good first game on scratch ! Now it's time to learn all the complex things of this "simple" language lol : LISTS, SAVE CODES, HACKED BLOCKS, HIDDEN BLOCKS, TURBOWARP, GANDI IDE, ADACRAFT, .SB3 FILES ACTUALLY BEING MODIFIED .ZIP FILES, CLONES IDENTIFICATION USING IDS, GRIDS, CLOUD VARIABLES, BREAKING DATA LIMITS USING HACKS, SCRATCH ADDONS, SCRATCH TOOLS, SCRATCH FORUMS, SCRATCHATTACH (it's a kind of path between python and scratch), UNLISTED CLOUD RULES, ENCODING/DECODING, OPTIMISATION TRICKS, 100% PEN PROJECTS, MENUS.....
and then everyone says scratch is easy -_- they just don't use it correctly
as a 'scratch developer' scratch is easy.

I know it wasn’t their intent, but videos like these just undermines all the good games that can exist on Scratch, and it really saddens me.

After seeing a few comments... some people will never truly understand scratch... it's not just for games it's for animations, game jams, art, and tutorials the coding gets more advanced if you actually learn it... just like Roblox you don't start off good you have to learn your way up there...
It seems really easy because you just drag and drop the code blocks in, but after trying it out for myself and seeing some creations other people have made, it definitely does get a lot more advanced LOL
I’m sort of good at scratch, it makes a lot of sense when you actually learn it.

Hey, I am a huge fan! And this is just a simple idea, but there is this game engine called flowlab, that is just like scratch that you could try to make a game on.

Feels weird to see 3.0 and the purple (basically 1-2 months before your video, the Scratch Team changed the color from blue to purple, and 3.0 is the current version, 2.0’s editor has a lot of grey)

Scratch was the first developing app i used, it was honestly so easy cause i had a coding lesson, i actually dont understand lua more than scratch.

I’m a scratch dev and Coding is a little confusing for starters but after awhile it’s very easy to code
As a scratch & roblox developer, I see and feel horrified about difference of coding / scripting language...

You could have done it like this

Forever
If touching orange
Switch costume to explosion
Stop all
Broadcasts are only needed for communication for between sprites (and very rarely scripts (not in your case) )

I have an idea! so... like, how about you add a fuel bar. and hen its out of fuel, your rocket should go to the milky way or more fuel. but this time, there should be a shop in there this time. the fuel bar should be at 100% fuel.

I like 2D games so I use Scratch More often to make games without coding (Because I suck lmfao) and make a game that's 2D because Scratch Runs like a SNES where 3D games Run very laggy because it's a 2D engine and 3D SNES games like Starfox and Scratch have the same FPS when running a 3D game.
