Thank you so much for this video I’m 3 months away from my wedding doing it myself and u have taught me so much the only thing I’m curious about is how to get my girls on the same page with me, wedding is a Wednesday so Monday and Tuesday will be flower day also I’ll be transporting everything so I’ll use the truck for the arch’s and metal grid, my questions is just how to work with my helpers so they’re on the same page and I don’t have to frantically worry about how it all looks while I’m busy taking pictures or saying hi to my guests ugh it’s so nerve wracking but I’m excited to see what I can pull off on my own so I can get into growing and decorating for other people!
Hello Briana, I'm so glad to hear my videos have helped you! Weekday weddings can be more challenging due to work schedules. You will probably want to source your flowers locally and get them on Monday. Naturally, I'd love to sell flowers to you, but I would have to ship them Monday for a Tuesday delivery...and if there was an unforeseen FedEx delay you'd get your blooms the day of your wedding which is no bueno. Here's a page we have for helpers. The main thing is you need to be really specific about times so they can take off work if needed. flowermoxie.com/pages/moxie-helpers
Hello, I’ve been watching a lot of your videos as I have my wedding in a couple of weeks. I was wondering if there is any way to backfill the garland the night before? I don’t think there will be enough time the day of. Thanks!
You'd need to put a water tube on them or they'll look a bit sad. If it's really cold outside and in the venue, they might be ok, but personally, I would wait until the day of or offer a water source. XXXX, Amy
This is so helpful!! I'm receiving my garland 2 days before decorating, 3 days before the wedding. In addition to misting it, should I give it a soak once or twice before Decorating Day (then remisting + Crowning Glory)?
We're so glad you found it helpful! You shouldn't need to soak the garland, misting with Crowning Glory or water should do the trick just fine and make sure to keep it in a cool dark area! You can also help with moisture by coiling the garland and placing it in a plastic bag and then misting the inside of the bag!
Yep, that could work, but I'd also suggest misting it down with Crowning Glory. If it's a hot weather month I've seen the flowers suck up the water pretty quickly, though. But my ultimate opinion is it takes little time to unroll the garland and backfill with the flowers....you don't have to be precious about it, it's just a matter cutting the blooms to be around 2-3'' and sticking them in the garland. A 12ft table takes me less than 5 minutes, so if you could ask a family member or friend to help it would be quick work, and faster than fussing with water tubes. =)
I’m ordering flowers from you guys for my October wedding . I’m doing a garland table runner they will be 13ft long how many roses would you suggest for each garland . I love a more minimal look over full of flowers since the garland will be so full .
Personally, I like to do clusters when I'm going for more minimal. I would say do a cluster of 3 roses every two feet so that would be about 20-25 roses. You could fill it in more with cushion flowers and carnations, as well!
If you're just placing the florals and greenery on top of the edge of the fountain this would definitely work! If you're placing this where there's water moving in the fountain that could cause this type of method to swirl about, since the pieces aren't bound in any way. You could create a garland in the more traditional sense (kinda like a big floral crown) and wrap that around the sections you're looking to cover!
Can you tell me the names of the greenery in your garland. I think you mention lemon grass, but I didn't get the name of the other. Thank you. It's very beautiful!!
@@impASHioned1 The garland was pre-made. I find that you don't save money by making your own garland, as it takes quite a big of volume. It's best to buy the pre-made garland, or just do loose greens (less pricey)

Can you cut the garland down into smaller sections for placement in the center of a round table?
Absolutely! Have a hardy pair of snips, because it's thick!
do you think this would be a smart way to do flowers on a fountain?

Can I pre buy the garland
Yes, I have seen videos of people making it, but I don't find that cost-effective. Sam's Club has the best price on garland. XO
Hello! I am ordering my bridal flowers from your website but I cannot seem to find where you got this garland from? Or did you make it?
Shoot Hope an email at hello@flowermoxie.com to let her know what kind and how much you need and she will help!

Sure! Lemon leaf (salal) and Plumosa which looks all ferny!
@@FlowerMoxie Thank you :)
This looks so beautiful!! How many bunches of each did you use to make the garland?

@Erin Cowan It's real!
