    What a great Video, your presentation is very specific to each area of the Nordic. Thank you for posting. We purchased from a Jacuzzi dealer in Ontario, the delivery and set up was horrible. If not for video's like yours, a lot of us are left on our own

    Thanks for the great information! What about summer when you're not using the hot tub? What's the maintenance for summer?

    Thanks for this helpful video. Nordic is on my list of hot tubs that I am considering as my first hot tub. When you added the pH adjusting chemical did you need to leave the jets running for the 4 hours you mentioned before the pH would change or is it only necessary to let it run for 30 minutes with the cover off like you did for the shock treatment?
    Also, what is the recommendation for the filter cycle from 1 - 8 hours? I gather the longer the better, but it uses more electricity. Is 1 hour enough or does it depend on the season? Thanks.

    I would love to see a video with detailed start up instructions, including how to prime the pump after draining and refilling. My manual says "press the Jets button repeatedly and be sure the pump is free of air". I haven't seen this discussed on any Nordic tub videos. I just refilled my tub for the 2nd time and the pumps are not working. First time I did this, they worked fine after I turned the hot tub on.

      It was the first thing he talked about, trying to fill up the spa through the filter. If you have one, turn the tub on and off a few times, unscrew the filter and shove a hose down there and blast as much water around as you can, open up the waterfall, move the diverter jet to different positions.

    Do the retreat have an after market ozone product kit available

      There is an ozone kit, but I was advised to not select it as they malfunction after a year and there is indication when it fails.

    Does Nordic still use wood for its frames ? Thx

      No, but they recently came out with newer frames that very stylish. Major upgrade from before.

      What are the new frames made of?

    • @mcurtis442

      @socalifone3044 it's permawood, but the design is more sleek than before. I just purchased one two months ago and had it installed this week. I have the Retreat SE.

      Are you talking about the cabinet or the interior frame?

    • @mcurtis442
      @mcurtis442 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @socalifone3044 the outer frame. My apologies, are you talking about the bottom of the platform?
