I'm compelled to write an honest review and focus on the abysmal quality of Bullfrog spas and their jetpacks! I spent months looking for a therapeutic spa and decided on Bullfrog after a wet test. What I've learned is that while the massage is great, the jet packs break after several months and stop oscillating which will leave you with a very uncomfortable experience! I would constantly find small plastic pieces in the footwell that I came to discover was pieces of the Jets breaking which is why the oscillation stops. Bullfrog "claims" to give a 5 year warranty. The truth is that the jetpacks will break at least once a year and your warranty is only valid from the time of purchase. A real company would honor a 5-year warranty from the time of replacement, because that's how long the product actually should last. The jetpacks run over $300 each, so after your 5-year warranty expires, you'll likely spend $1,000 a year on replacements until you go broke, or get rid of your Bullfrog. I'm appalled by this experience and I will tell the truth about Bullfrog so that other people don't make the same expensive mistake I did! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY A BULLFROG! It will cost you an absolute fortune in replacements!

When adding bromine. Should I wait to test again. I added 8 oz in the tub you are showing us. It didn't register anything after 30 minutes

What about using non-chlorine shock oxidizer?

The fitting will not pull out. I'm afraid to try needle nose pliers, which may damage the fitting.

Just had my new A7 (fully loaded) filled it with water. Trouble. I will get back to you once the dealer sends a repair person to fix the brand new machine.... Let you know as soon as they come ..... but so far. Not a good look.

15:30 - Instead of turning the breaker off, could you not just go into soak mode which turns everything off and do what you need to do? I like the idea of an extra set of filters. We did this with our old tub.

Baller...I bought a quick plunger after my first water refill and tub clean on my Bullfrog A7. I knew my wife would give me sh*t if it didn't work. Plunged it for about 30 seconds and holy sh*t side 1 fired up! Thank you for saving my marriage.

Wow, no wonder why so many people give up on their hot tubs and pools. You don't need any of that stuff. For a 420 gallon six person hot tub I simply balance PH by using muriatic acid to lower PH, aeration to raise PH and once set add 3oz of liquid chlorine a day. Never have to shock or add algaecide if you maintain the proper chlorine level (3oz per day). At startup and if water ever becomes cloudy shock using 8oz of liquid chlorine. You'll save yourself a lot of money in all the stuff being sold here.

Total Serum AND Chlorine AND Dichlor? Sounds like a lot of chemicals. What is the point of the chlorine? Those grey cartridges are not inexpensive.

Why do I need to replace my jet packs?

Good video however there is some information which is not correct. With the Frog @ Ease system you should never use a chlorinated Shock (such as Spa Guard Enhanced Shock)as this will raise the CYA levels and eventually make the sanitizing non effective with the Frog system. You should only use the packets they provide or use a MPS Shock only which does not contain Dichlor. If you do need to use chlorine with the Frog system you should look at using bleach or pool chlorine which does not contain CYA like granulated chlorine does.

Tried all three methods and still getting error codes 15, 17 and 27.

Just got done reading BBB and a lot of complaints about leaks, poor jet pressure and customer service barely or not existent at all. I was thinking about purchasing a Bullfrog but the same dealer in my town also sells Nordic. I am going to go with Nordic- a no Frills spa=less potential issues. Nice way to add to the landfill by replacing and throwing out filters every 6 to 8 weeks-not a well-thought-out idea.

I can’t seem to find an answer. If the water fall can be turned on by itself, and pumps 1, 2 and 3 don’t come on, what is powering the waterfall? How is it the only thing turning on and no other jets?

I think I have an older model. I don't even know how to find out. All I could see was "Cal Spa". I kind of inherited it from the family that used to live here so I don't have the manual or anything with me. My dashboard looks older than the one seen here. Is there a way to fill the tub with water without using a hose that connects from the outside? Are there mechanics inside the tub (underneath, maybe) that help facilitate that? Also, the water in our county is pretty hard. Can I use that or should I buy water that's maybe softer or something?

Hi friends. Question please? My '23 A7 shows "cooling" when I turn the temperature down. Is the spa really capable of cooling as well, or does that simply mean "no heat"? Thanks for your time and help, in advance.

my brand new Bullfrog A6 2023 is air locking every day. It is awful. I'm waiting for local dealer to help...no hurry on their end apparently... faulty something...

I just got my Bullfrog A6L and can't figure out what "Night Mode" is and how to change it because anytime I touch that icon in either screen it just turns off the display panel.

Is that a x7 without the premium jet package? Just the standard?

Thanks for this helpful video. Nordic is on my list of hot tubs that I am considering as my first hot tub. When you added the pH adjusting chemical did you need to leave the jets running for the 4 hours you mentioned before the pH would change or is it only necessary to let it run for 30 minutes with the cover off like you did for the shock treatment? Also, what is the recommendation for the filter cycle from 1 - 8 hours? I gather the longer the better, but it uses more electricity. Is 1 hour enough or does it depend on the season? Thanks.

I use my submersible pump to force the air out of the lines. Takes about one or two seconds. I leave the pumps off .
