About your first tip.I have been driving for 35 years and have owned my 2008 fn2r since 2008 new.I always start up my cars and drive them very gently until they warm up.Yes, never over rev your car until warm but sitting there and waiting for warm up is not necessary.Good oil always helps for cold start driving.
Spot on with the pot holes fella, driving around Manchester in my Type R is a nightmare!! Roads in the UK are shocking!! Oh and Shell everytime!!

Oliver Damms it’s good but you can make it better with a tune & bolt on mods. I went with Hondata flash pro for the tune. Now it feels like a completely different car.

Stealth Brotherz spot on about the fuel. The 95 RON in the supermarkets is so bad compared to the VPower. For the extra 10p a litre, the car feels better and I'm convinced the fuel economy is better too 😉

check the engine oil at least on every second fill up, some can drink up to 1 litre every 800 miles, good thing is also that the car won't actually let you engage vtech until it's at a safe temperature, and if you can afford it get the hondata flash pro and download the group n map, piece of cake and turns th3 car into a different animal, keep up the good work stealth bros.
sensible tips, also do not forget to put your foot flat to the floor on the clutch when shifting, those pesky Honda boys.

Not sure about the standard tesco stuff but their premium fuel (momentum 99) is as good as it gets. Can't really tell the difference between that and vpower and some people actually say tesco is better. Both are 99 RON which is higher than all the other premium fuels.
keep an eye on the engine oil, and that's about it, its a Honda so should last, keep driving. Watch the front brake heat shields they can warp on drivers side and make a grating noise,dont be conned into new pads they just need realigning.

I got a Honda Civic FN2 Type R Championship white and I am fell in love with it. I will put the engine supercharged or turbocharged up to 500bhp by TDI north, worth price £6,000 WTF lol
Where about's do you live I noticed you were at Manchester cruise for the bombings attack, Posting on GF's account but I've just got an FN2 Type R I'm loving it at the moment as it's my daily driver so my other car are not used as much ( I know the Honda can take it).

I feel your pain with the suspension! I've got eibach suspension on my FN2 and it back braking at times.

@@StealthBrotherz Eibach springs have taken the edge off - the OEM suspension was rattling people's fillings out :D

Costco premium fuel is great and isnt too expensive!
hi mate I have an hks induction kit and it doesn't make any difference to the coolent gauge temp. mine sits just under half way mark' same as it did with stock airbox. even with town driving in the summer the hks dosent realy suffer from much heat soak... I'm running a tegawa heat shield on mine wich I would advise to anyone who wants hks rsk kit
+HONDA RPMS cheers for the comment mate very informative. Looking at some of the reviews. It does seem to effect some and not others. I'm guessing the heat shield is doing a good job. Where did you get your tegiwa heat shield from.
Stealth Brotherz hi mate got the shiled from tegawa website payed £65 if I remember..the heat shiled was the tricky part of installation....the rest is easy..best purchase I made for the fn2...intoxicating sound
And I always spell tegawa wrong lol
I realy want a mugen wing....yours looks beautiful..it realy seems to complete the car
