    I own a X-T1 and had been interested in the X100T for a long time. I recently decided to try out a X100T and consider using it primarily instead. This video really opened up a new world of photography for me. I love the POV street photography vlog idea. I'm loving all of these videos, and I feel really inspired, which is amazing because I've been in a photographic rut. I'm traveling to Taiwan this week, and now I feel more confident about making some good pictures and enjoying my photography more. Thanks, Pablo. Keep up the great work!

    I haven't felt motivated to trade in my X100S. I still have my original X100, so, yeah, I'm a fan of the camera. And I have more equipment than I know what to do with and if my wife knew, she would have a suggestion as to what that might be. But you'll have to pry the X100S out of my cold dead hands. Unless I buy the T, of course, then all bets are off. Nice video. thanks!

    as this was made 5 years ago I'd like to know if its still relevant..? @Pablo i have a leica delux4 it's compact and just like you say it's too fiddly it's 10 years old and actually after many years of turning the buttons they have broken and it's impossible to use now. I'm looking for a good camera for city and countryside vlogging, just scenery. i think i might need a big dslr to get the countryside, mountain views... i don't think it's possible to get it on a camera like this one. maybe if it's possible to change the lens...?

    • @BCtechB
      @BCtechB 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mr. Pinewood It really depends on ur shooting style. First of, Fuji is better known for exceedingly well rending on stills perspective. Plus, the physical dials on the beautiful retro machine are absolutely intuitive because of the straight out markings on the top. It really hit home to people who learned photography based off a old school film camera. That said, if you are used to feature-rich DSLR bodies then there's tons of better options out there for the price. The best thing I love about Fuji is the nearly silent shutter sound, whenever in a place where noise isn't welcomed Fuji is my first pick. Also, do not forget that Fuji's rendering is the best in class performance. There's something magical about the rendering which really no others can compete. Although there's tons of good side of this camera but nothing is perfect. If you are serious into shooting videos, the settings are not much too choose from plus the lack of flip screen, image stabilization.......etc. Overall video quality is nothing near the T3i you are using currently. Hope this do help😉

    • @ReneBrainEater
      @ReneBrainEater 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      BCtechB Thank you for your advice! My shooting style is more on the stills. I decided to sell my T3i and buy the Fuji X-T10 + Fujinon 23mm f/2. I testet the x100t a week ago and i immediately fell in love with all those dials and the Retro feel that Fuji has. But i really prefer an articulating screen over a fixed screen. That's why i'm gonna take the X-T10. And i barely used the video mode on my Canon, so that's not a negative point for me. :)

    Nice review, but I really struggle with the AF, don't know why nobody talks about that, it's quite important wich mode of AF you use, or it really sucks, doesn't want to focus on anything even in broad daylight and high contrast scenery! With face detect it focus es but I get a yellow branket in the green, and it's not in focus, but without it's spot on??? Other than that I moster uses MF and it works great! ;)

    I don't mean to sound overly critical but most photographers would question how much of that is actually "street photography". Normally the inclusion of people in a photograph makes up a fairly crucial element to street photography. Nice review with that one exception.

    • @PABLOSTRONGVLOGS
      @PABLOSTRONGVLOGS  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Fair comment. I just carry my camera every day and try to capture what catches my eye. Just happens to be on mostly in the street. Not too bothered about genres but perhaps 'personal photography' is a more appropriate one!
