What a shout-out! Thank you, Tom. I completely agree; the benefits of the X100 series are so similar across all of their cameras that it gets slightly more refined with every iteration. If you don't want to pay the X100V money, any of the earlier models will be a wonderful experience.
The main reason for this generation is the x-trans II sensor. Classic Chrome on this sensor is stellar. I made my best holiday shots with the x100t and the xe2s in the Mediterranean summer. Also it works great on a gray rainy day in a big town. This sensor with CC Sim is magical.❤
I sold my Fuji 100T :P but it's 100% a very good Camera. Sharp and nice Film look. But now shooting on a Leica x1 /x2 same price but like it more. x-t3 I use profesional is to close to 100T. also a Sleeper is the Ricoh GX200 or GRD3 or 4 :D
Superb in this generation this type of gadgets is the coolest thing you buy...if you like photoshoot much i will tell you after a year you see everyone have their separate these cameras 📸 its a vibe owner of that every single im damn sure ❤🇮🇳🆒
i own this one and its good, just like any other camera.... the problem is the price, and it starts with this youtubers tallking about the xseries as it was the hollygrial of photography... the prices and availability are stupid, i moved to sony, more practical good price, not a silly hype.... if you really like photo sooner or later your shots will end up being edited in lightroom.... sooner or later.... so whats the point
@@ItsTomRich I have got prints on the wall from the time of using a 5MP Minolta SLR, nobody aber complained about them nor are pixels visible from more than 1feet away. And they are 1,5m Panorama Crops…. If you don’t do high gloss fashion prints in magazines or such, then the todays trend towards 40 or 60 MP is over the top and the secret lies in the processing afterwards. And, as you noted, for social media even 16MP or less is way enough.
@@ItsTomRich Sure, always. 1. Why bother taking a photo and showing it when it is not adding something? 2. My standard is trying always to get the best shot -- which you will never achieve, but hopefully get (very) close. But to each his own.

@@JamesParsons1and why? im chasing the x100v down tbh. might go for leica tho
I watched these videos and bought X100F, now I am trying to get rid of it, because I haven't picked it up once for 6 months

For social media more than enough

Save your money
You are professional, but take meaningless snapshots (4:09). Who would you pay for that. I surely not.
That’s just a photo I took of a friend- at a friends wedding. Not every photo needs to be sold 🤪
@@ItsTomRich No, but every which you publish should be at least decent IMO.
@nickgoogle4525 Not when the entire point of this camera is casualness
