    • @The_unexplained

      How do people think it's for safety when they themselves got unemployed, lost business, locked in home? Over 1 trillion dollars in US transferred from poor to rich in a single year. Forced jabs, no freedom. Sunlight and being with nature and doing constant wear and tear of body so that immune system is active = unhealthy and wearing masks for long hours thereby contaminating bacterias, staying at home thereby getting no sunlight, sanitising again and again and avoiding bacterias which shuts down/makes immune system weak = healthy.
      When a disease gets infected whose Survival rate is more than 97%, they don't blame them shutting down their immune system as weakened immune system will definitely face problems while contracting a disease suddenly but will surely blame ones who didn't receive jab and maintained their immune system.
      Where the hell is safety?

      In updating Maslow's hierarchy of needs, I've renamed the "Safety Needs" as "Freedom Needs", as the ability to protect ourselves is based in the freedom to escape harmful environments, and find ones that better support our ability to collaborate with our various neighboring individual animals, vegetables, minerals, and fungii. We're only scared if we can't easily go elsewhere. So having that freedom to roam is the key to feeling "safe" even when the universe is generally a dangerous place.

    I once saw a aboriginal elder say their connection with nature is boundless, they ask permission from the land for bounties and the land gives answers. Have you ever been out bush walking, you are on the right trail the sun is shining, the birds are chirping, the insects buzzing, you feel happy....if you ever fall off the trail and begin to get lost all of a sudden it seems a little darker, the birds arent chirping, there is no buzzing. This is nature talking to you, telling you you've gone off the trail. The signs are always there if you are open to listening. Break down your walls and be open to everything around you, you are not separate from nature, you are nature.

      How do you work that one out? For example if you feel shame about your body for something which happened to you as a youngster, how can having humility transcend the shame? Having humility to say what...? Thanks for helping because l didn’t understand you phrase even if it seems somewhat useful

    • @thoughttranscending
      @thoughttranscending 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@greendrummers that's a great question. In my opinion the saying is slightly misleading. While I do believe that humility is the antidote to shame, it is not easy to achieve or maintain. Finding humility isn't as simple as just accepting things as they are. Humility is gained by soul searching and confronting your demons; it is gained incrementally through developing an understanding that you cannot change the past, and that no matter your experience and trauma, there are things to be learned from them. Anger, pride, and shame often blind us to those lessons and steal from us the peace and happiness we all deserve. Humility is gained through diving into deep into your emotions and understanding why you feel what you feel and what causes you to act the way you act.
      The more egregious the act you have experienced, the more difficult it can be to achieve humility; the tragedy is, though, that anger towards the aggressor or yourself doesn't remedy anything, it only hurts you and keeps you out of balance. Few people attempt to find true humility, and even fewer find it. Those who do often go down in history as enlightened ones (saints, wisemen, children of gods, etc..). The act of trying to find a sense of humility is noble; it is finding detachment and relinquishing blame, whether it is towards yourself or another. It is not easy. But if you attempt to look at the world, and your past, through the lens of humility, you will one day thank yourself.
      Whatever your sense of shame, there is some form of pride behind it. I cannot identify what it is, or whether you should even address it; perhaps that is not the path for you, but then again, maybe it is. That is for you to know and decide. I wish you all the best.

    This is great advice. To summarize: there is a need for suvivival and safety but also there is a need to expand. the need to expand is very important and to not fear suffering or pain. The fear of suffering or overall fear is antagonist to growth and it is important to keep a strong balance of both leaning toward expanding, even though survival has played it's part in the past and to form comfort and social acceptance. Example is female trait of comfort and conservatism toward male trait of exploration and challenge (expand). Important to also not worry about future and stay open to what happens, and the moment. this is somewhat similar to left brain right brain theory, left being social systems and right being individuality/expression.

The religious industry has been booming in India with cults and fake gurus that speak in logical fallacies. The same industry has been booming everywhere though. He says women have to look beautiful for men, owns a bunch of luxury cars, and has lawsuits against him for cutting down trees on or near some nature preserve. This guy just speaks in circles and uses dumb jokes to hide what he has to say, which is just nonsense. His name is jaggi bhai, and he was exposed a while back, but he still has a following.

      A lot of spiritual concepts are found from within. There is not necessarily a teacher/guide needed for some laws of nature as if we look deep enough we can find it. I found out how gratitude literally changed my perceptions to little things in life including things I thought I disliked such as my career. I discovered the split in my mind, the ego, when I fell into many issues with other people and realised the ego I was displaying isn't necessarily how I truly wanted to be. It was after those discoveries, I read about it and put it into words. This isn't to say I discovered it. Lots of people have before me and lots of people are today aswell. The point I'm making is that we ALL have these understandings of the laws of life within us if we slow time down and be aware/present enough.
