  • How much I spend in a month as a millennial living in Warsaw, Poland. The real cost of life in Warsaw, Poland. In this video I tell you about how much it cost to live in Poland, how much I spend in Warsaw, Poland on rent, food, restaurants, transportation, drug store, gym membership (all my monthly expenses). I discuss whether it's true that Poland is such a cheap country to live in or is it more expensive than you think?

    That's why a lot of my friends who were planning to buy are now waiting for prices to crash.

    To all western people: take in mind the minimal wage in poland is 610eur gross monthly and there is 18% income tax to 1535eur. After than there is 38% tax. Being an engineer here gives you 1300eur+ gross/month. Compare cost of living from this video (it's really nicely done) to this data ;)

      Developing countries are those who's GDP is less than developed nations or who's economies are less mature and sophisticated. It's based on economics not on physical appearance.
      Slavic countries in general and countries that were under the USSR and communism have a less developed economy and prices are much, much lower than in Western countries.

    • @markg1531
      @markg1531 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@xAORxYINY4NG I very much doubt you could afford a good apartment in Warsaw, Gdansk, Krakow or Wroclaw city centers. They prices are very high, higher than in many German, Italian or Spanish cities. Also cars are more expensive. The official statistics are wrong and you probably go by those.

      @@markg1531 Nice straw man argument. Shows that you don't know any actual facts. Hard data or a straw man who says the data is incorrect. 🤔 You probably couldn't afford to live in the US anymore.
      Poland isn't expensive at all. A room in a shared apartment in the city I used to live in, costs $1000 in the university area along the main streets. Mutiply that by 3 for even 5 times for a studio apartment. Shared university dorms cost more than apartments in Poland and that's only rent not including utilities and other expenses.
      That's not even expensive compared to Los Angeles or New York.
      Everything in Poland and the former communist bloc is much cheaper.

    You are spending far too much on restaurants. For 5 to 7 dollars, you can eat very well and quite a lot in a central Warsaw very decent place. Never tell Poles their country is cheap as their salaries are much lower than ours.
