Hey! That weather looked proper grim but Dartmoor is still beautiful! I happily use my Cloud Peak all year round as you know, amazing tent for the money. Great beers but can’t believe you forgot your water!!! 😱🤣😂
Hiya Karen, yes it was grim but it's amazing how much fun you can have, alone in a tent with no Internet signal for 16 hours lol . Great tent for the money
Great video mate, new camera is great! great camp too (despite the awful weather 😂) me and pat had the custard apple crunch the other week, proper lush 🤌
Great video, my wet clothes I put in my outer tent ⛺️ don’t bother trying to dry them , don’t like wet clothing in my sleeping area , builds up more moisture inside, another wet one on Dartmoor,
Thankyou for the new follow my friend. As for the jacket at the end, it's the same jacket I wore throughout. It's the Regatta Imber 2 and here is a link www.regatta.com/imber-ii-jacket-magma-burnt-tikka/
I have the Starlight but not taken it to the Moor yet...now thinking it would be a good option. Look forward to seeing your new tents once you get time.
I use my Cloud Peak in Södermanland, Sweden during the winter with pleasure. I've camped down to -18°C without a problem. Haven't used it in heavy snowfall, though. The only thing I've found is during the rainy season, if it gets standing water under the fly, it will seep into the tent, so your mat is floating on a lake. Experienced while trekking in Padjelanta National Park in August.
Yes this is what happened on this camp. I didn't get soaking wet but the wind did blow some of the water up under the top cap and I did get a little bit of water coming in . But nothing really from all the rain we had
😊despite the windy conditions, it looks pretty calm in the tent. Just watched another TH-camr in s hiiliberg soulo and the inside was flapping like a bugger..

When out solo camping my preferred in-tent activity is the #1, all time favorite one. 😊
Dartmoor never fails to provide 😂...good video Marc. That Starlight 2 looked like it was standing solid, unyielding! ATB, Paul.
Starlight is a cracking tent..... but I do have 2 new tents to share . Just finding the time to get out.
