    There is also a way to test the speakers before you remove them. With the key on acc. hold the 1 & 3 and push the radio power button on. It will say FL , which means front left speaker. If you here sound it's good, if not it is bad. Push the seek button on the radio to listen to the other speakers. Hope this helps.

    Duuuuude, thank you so much! All the other videos I've seen have gone the complicated route of taking the entire door panel off... 🤮 This is so much quicker and simpler for what I'm trying to do--much obliged, Sir! 😁

    Did this increase the sound volume in the car? I’ve noticed my 06 civic is very quiet even when it’s at MAX

      Yes, I'm guessing that you have several blown speakers. You need to replace them all

    Another test is to touch a 9 volt battery to the speaker, the cone will move and be audible. my 08 rear speakers are inop, appears this is common.

    • @RoadMisfit187
      @RoadMisfit187  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That has nothing to do with the normal speakers. Just turns the subwoofer on/off

    No one has been able to figure out why my 4 speakers don't work. The radio works, the speakers tested good and the fuse for the audio Amp are good. Still no sound

      Decent for a stock radio. Sound a little better than stock speakers. If you really want good sound I would buy an aftermarket pioneer radio and more expensive speakers.

  • @kovacspis

    The capital M next to the Ohm sign is NOT milliohm, it was MEGAOhms. Not millionTH of an Ohm, it was million Ohms, connection of coil was bad, almost open circuit. Milliohm would have been "m" and your basic DMM wouldn't have been able to read such low resistance.

      Depending on the model of your civic some of them have a factory amp. You will have to make sure that it is working. Usally when you can barely hear it on your small dash speakers are working. Might all be blown. Idk do you know how to wire up a different radio?

      @@RoadMisfit187 I’m gonna buy a speaker to make sure my speakers ain’t blown cause I can hear. The radio just super low. But it might be my amp I’m not sure I had put 4 speakers when o bought the car years ago.
