    I'm glad to see how easy it is to leaf-propagate and the advice to add it to my arrangements for some contrasting color. I'm so happy that this common succulent can give a burst of color to contrast with my many red and pink succulents. This is an awesome help! Thanks!

I hardly water it. Wish I could share its pic with. Thanks for the great information it is my favourite succulent too.

    Yeah so true. It is an adorable succulent. It looks great in winters and propagates easily. But boy! How quickly and badly do they stretch. It is good to see videos of your lesser exotic collection 😃😁 because these are the kind that I can grow with relative ease. Looking forward to more videos.

    Hi! I'm getting my first Sedum Adolphii, it will be a small plant. Do you recommend indirect sunlight first or direct sunlight? I'm afraid of the sun burning the leaves, around 1pm it gets hot.

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  หลายเดือนก่อน

      oh wow thats exciting ...no sudden exposure to direct sunlight ....one week indirect but bright light with good intensity and then slow introduction to morning direct sunlight start with early morning 1 hour direct sunlight which is mild and slowly increase 1 hr each day ...no direct sunlight post 11 am

    Thanks for the tips!! I saw my adolphi turn bright redish and I just knew it was from the sun because it was a cpl HOT direct days. Now just to find the perfect spot for winter. Our winters get down to 40degrees F. Will it be fine through that cold?? Or should I bring it inside. Thanks!

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      sedums are mostly distributed around Mexico (Veracruz)..i m not sure if they will be able to handle that much cold ..to be safe just move them to the window sill
      sedum adolphii just store a lot of water in its leaves we don't want that water to freeze

    I'm sorry, I didn't quite get if this plant can be kept indoors. I live in Canada....cold winters . And actually i thought it was a house succulent and rhat's why I bought it!

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  ปีที่แล้ว

      this succulent is best if grown outdoors in morning direct sunlight for 5-6 hours …they also have a tendency to handle afternoon direct sun if acclimated properly…but yes Canada during winters I don’t think they are frost hardy …you will have to put them below a grow light…otherwise it will turn green and start to get leggy ( stretched ) …there will be a lot of gap in between each leaf …so in general no this not a house plant 😞 but you can keep them under grow lights during winters and during summers put them out but don’t forget to acclimate them
