    I just secured my first moonstone, so thankful for your helpful video. I am hoping leaving it on my window sill with direct morning sun will keep it happy till the fall when the temperatures dip.

    This video is really helpful for me.Many important facts were unknown such as dry stem point. I have very recently mishandled a sedum adolphii thinking it was rootrotted. Now I realize it s stem was just dried.My moon stones will also get proper care for your tips. Thank you so much.

    My dearest Lush Gardener. Hope you are well. I have a Pink Moon Stone . Is the pink variety also a Pachyphylum and therefore goes dormant in the Summer?

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hello 😊,I’m doing well thank you .
      Pink moonstone is actually called Graptopetalum Amethystinum Or Lavender Pebbles … they are not a variety of pachyptum but they too go dormant in summers 😊

  • @sharonlok3418

    Hi LG, my moonstones has wrinkles leaves bottom 3 of it, it didn't bounce back after watering for quite some times, my soil mix is very porous, izzit because too porous with very less organic soil in it or root problem? I place it in taking morning sunlight & bright shaded place in the afternoon. Pls advise. Thq

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  ปีที่แล้ว

      how long as it been wrinkled …no porous soil is good ….lower leaves it’s ok as long the upper leaves are fine ….was it underwatered at any point …
      give it some time it should recover…or most probably those leaves will fall off I think the succulent is taking water from lower leaves ….if you want add a thin layer of gardern soil above very little like just sprinkle it in the upper layer not too much

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  ปีที่แล้ว

      in root problem all the leaves will get wrinkled

    • @sharonlok3418

    What would be the reason if the leaves are falling?

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  ปีที่แล้ว

      there would be many factors …underwatering,overwatering,soil mix not proper …but the main factor what I see if this happens during summers it’s due to heat …they can handle excess heat they will drop the leaves

    Leaves of my moonstone are falling day by day ..Plz guide, what to do

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      sir this will be due to the climate if it’s too hot …keep it’s in a cooler location use a shade cloth but at the same time ensure there is good indirect bright light ……water the soil when you feel it’s dry don’t keep it underwatered for two long ….also check if the soil is lose and porous….there shouldn’t be excess nutrients as they are currently dormant
