Just got into apex two season ago and the crouch spam tip really helped a lot sometimes I’d spectacle people and they’d do it like nothing, I thought they were using some Cronus zen or Glitch lol. These setting tho once you get used to them they’re very good although I have my jump to r3 and crouch to L1 on ps5 it’s helped my aim a lot.
I have my jump on RB and my slide on LB my ping on A and my melee on b and my ultimate on right stick and A and my crouch in toggle and my movement has inproved so much I started out on button puncher and made my change to this and it’s so much better

Here are my buttons and I love them: Right stick is jump A is ping B is punch Right bumper (normal not scuff) is crouch (hold) I play with my first finger on the bumper and my middle finger on the trigger on my right hand and I think everything else is normal. These settings have done me very very well Edit - explanation: Having crouch on right bumper does the same thing as having it on right stick, but crouch spamming while adsing doesn’t throw off your aim the way it potentially can on right stick. Jump shots rely more on flicking at the height of your jump than tracking, so it’s the safer bet. Hope this helps y’all!
You shouldn't put such a heavily used button on the "look-stick" It can cause drift over time, and also wouldn't it be better to have it on the left analog anyways? Doesn't interfere with aiming that way
My controllers do get worn out lmaooo. Sadly I don't think you can set it to left analog. I find with the aim on the crouch it helps me hit crazy mastiff shots.
When you turn on advanced look control it automatically turns off your default sensitivity controls. So basically you can set the the sens to max high and test it out. It'll be super high. Then go in an turn on advanced look control, back out and test it again and it will be back at default. It doesn't lock those controls in. It locks you out because once you turn on advanced look control you're fine tuning your settings. The line on each bar is the default and the line is there for reference that way you can be like ok this is what I had when I started messing with shit let's go this way a click an see how that feels is it better is it worse? Wanna go back the other way a little bit? Oh ok here's default so maybe this way a little more?.... That's ALC in a nutshell

I have like 4k kills but jus can't stay into it like I used to. I played season 4, 5 an 6 probably 18 times all 3 season's combine. Probably 15 times on season 7
I don't understand with button puncher and hold crouch you can't slide hop because you have to take your thumb off the joystick to jump which cancels the slide or maybe I'm missing something?

I keep mine linear always I have an elite I keep look dead zone large field of view 100 hold for crouch and seems to do very well like that I tried 100 different ways and that runs the best recoil great movement and also look high aim at default
To be honest linear is highly overrated if using Alc it’s really better to use classical or something in between linear can create aiming inconsistencies and nullify your aim assist significantly. It works for some players but I don’t believe everyone should be trying to use it for no recoil

LiveFromVegas are you talking about it for controller? Because it’s glitched but not gone. You need to go to the bottom of the controller tab, and scroll down with the dpad. Then you can press the ALC option. It’s for some reason gone but it’s just invisible. I hope this helps!

For crouchspaming it’s better to bind R1 as crouch button

i found out that setting jump to LB and crouch to pressing R helps a lot with bunny hopping and crouch spamming, tell me if it works for you.
