- Well, you can't bash it until you try it, so today I headed? head? headededed out into the world to test out an actual cold evening winter camping in the Jeep! I also forgot an axe.. so no fire😢

I grew up camping year round. 1 thing i always will suggest not just for winter but year round if youre offroading or hunting. Either buy one or make yourself is a emergency kit. So a knife, a fire starter of some sort thats waterproof, some cotton balls for starting fires,an emergency blanket for a start. Once you make one leave it in your vehicle. The amount of times ive used my firestarter because ive forgot a lighter is a lot.

Robbie ignore, which you probably are, the one dimensional viewers. Your builds are great and your presentation is able to hold peoples interest, and that's the point, no matter what you are building. I'm happy with the jeep stuff it's great to see different things, and going camping is "proofing" your build/design. It is all very specific to how and what you like to do. I actually talk to Phuong about the LLUMAR and should be getting it this year... I'm in Edmonton so it is easier... Keep up the great work, peace

Love your custom fold down table with cutting board. That was a great video. I have an older Rav4 with the swing out rear door, so I'm looking to add a similar table setup. One suggestion to keep the grease and heat off your backdoor while cooking might be to get another custom metal panel that could be attached just with magnets or Velcro to your back door. Removable for cleaning and could easily slide under/along side anything flat. Think of the old style Coleman stove wind screen idea. Just a suggestion to protect your back door area. Love the videos so keep them coming.

Buy yourself cast iron camping cooking set much better for this kind of thing and you will use less heat to cook with and get more flavor in your food.

I’m happy for you, and that you’re picking on this new adventure. But could you shuffle in some like actual car Contento like working on an engine or trying to get one of the project started. Don’t get me wrong I love this series on you retrofitting the jeep for camping. But I also want to see the car contact and I want to see working on the other bills.

Solo overlanding is awesome, but you're gonna want recovery gear (to include a winch) much sooner than later. Loved the video btw.
Tower line road is a good camping spot man unsurprised you didn’t pick something in that littler area. That’s where me and the boys go camping and riding dirt bikes in the summer. Great video though bro 🤙🏻

I love all the videos, and I'm not even a car guy. But I do love jeeps and trucks. I have never been camping before, but this looks like a lot of fun. You said you forgot an axe so you couldn't start a fire. What about trying out one of those multi tool axe camping/survival shovels off of amazon. I don't know if its a piece of hot garbage, or it might actually be a good tool to have, then you could give your thoughts on it the next morning over a cup of coffee outdoors. Just a thought keep up the amazing work.

I'm considering living out of my jeep through the winter simply because I'm tired of paying for hotels and rooms that cost 2000 plus a month for a single room with shared living spaces. I travel in the healthcare field and I have to pay basically 2 sets of bills and rent. My own house and then 1500 to 2000 a month for a f'''''g single bedroom with a shared bathroom, shared kitchen. Jeep living looking pretty good.

I think those smaller tanks burn hotter ! Again I think not a fact but I use them a lot ! Just my experience.low and slow for the food better camp stoves help regulate read reviews ! Great show came for the cars stayed for the new experience!

This style of videos is pretty cool. Usually people who do camping videos do it differently with mostly tripod use and seems less entertaining. I think because of filming car vlogs and stuff was the main content it makes your style of these videos different than I have seen. Pretty neat, definitely here for it.

im dealing with that hopefully this week (The getting of new tires) Toyo has been backed up so badly due to their supply chain issues, I was supposed to have tires in January, and now they are saying it will still be a while so I need to figure something out cause im bored of these wheels LOL
So I’m commenting as I see the video. But get a lithium battery (or 2) they are lighter and they charge faster and you can actually discharge them past 50%
Watch videos on how reflectix is being installed. It works better overlapping and with an airgap instead of just reflecting light and heat.
You increase your insulation by not touching the window basically.
Magnets and Velcro are your friends.
Also check mosquito nets for your windows for summer and the little gap of air you need for your propane heater. Also again check diesel heaters
I completely sprayed Lizardskin on my van. You might wanna consider doing that and /or installing extra insulation. Best part is that if you sell the jeep that’s an add on.
We even installed a tiny Woodstove on our van.

They are different! This is a new, different journey for me, and I'm choosing to share it with you guys! which I don't have to do. I love cars, building them, and sharing them with you guys. But I don't like being a mechanic, I got bored of being a mechanic, alone in my garage all the time, and I know it looks cool and fun on videos but this is my real life your watching, and I felt like I needed a change. Same way I'm sure you and 99% of the viewers have had more then 1 job in your life, because at some point you didn't want that job anymore! Its not just "please make the old style videos" it is "please live your life in a way you don't want to, to please people on the internet" cause I'm a real person who is living a real life, that I choose to share. I tried to continue to share my life, and this new direction with those interested, and hopefully some new subscribers as well! I'm beyond grateful for all the subscribers and supporters who got me this far, but y'all need to really think about what you're asking when you try and ask me not to change.
(This has nothing against you, but I get this a lot so im hoping a long winded answer might actually help some other people thinking the same thing!)

Small facts, the Jeep made me realize I actually want to live my life and not spend my days in the garage building cars that I never get the chance to use just to entertain people on the internet!
Right. So gain an audience by building cars on a budget. Then start getting that TH-cam money, and switch from budget builds to quality builds all the while showing anyone can do it and learn together along the way. Now completely ignore what made you successful, and what made your channel popular. 👍
