My Bolt EUV had the OEM rear view camera setup very similar to this unit. At first I wasn't I didn't know if I would like it but it didn't take long to LOVE it. I miss it in the MY. The Bolt's camera was above the back window and with proper driver side review mirror setting closes the blind spot.
Now seeing your video showing the camera view from inside the rear glass, I would have liked to position the camera at the bottom (instead of top) of the rear glass. I think that will give a total visibility (and avoid any inside view of the trunk).
I just noticed you're running a radar detector. Do you have the laser detection ON? I ask because the IR camera from the Tesla interior (or something that emits light) makes the Laser detector go crazy at night.
@depthcharge6215 If your camera is close to the tint, you can etch and remove a circle-shape or trapezoid-shape on the tint (big enough for the camera to see through the glass with no tint).

Why do you need blackvue if you have sentry recording all time

Could you do some driving in day and night so we can see how the glare is with the headlights?
No glare daytime I will do a shower at night later stay tuned
@@megawatts I’m ready for that shower video bro 🔥
So how’d it hold up?
Defeats the purpose of having this lmfao. Why would you not just put it outside lol. I'm dead af.
Does auto dimming on side mirrors still work?
Normally OEM rearview mirror controls dimming on side mirrors

Can I use this one model x?
It looks like the view with the normal RVM. How is it helpful then? 🤔
I wondered exactly the same thing.
In the location you have mounted, does it show the blind spots? Lol I have a 2023 without sensors
How you get continuous power to so many devices. Radar detector, blackvue, on this unit. I think there's only one cigarette lighter slot.
The car is literally a battery 😂
Can I put the camera at the *front* of the car near the front vent intake and left-right flip the display image? Thanks!
Yes but why would you do that? Hansshow has a instrumental display 10” with front camera
I saw you disconnected your original attachment to obd, so did u end up have like 2 cables attached to same obd?

Interesting... my rear view mirror is useless at night bc of my tint. How is this at night?
Put camera outside if you have dark tint
@depthcharge6215 If your camera is close to the tint, you can etch and remove a circle-shape or trapezoid-shape on the tint (big enough for the camera to see through the glass with no tint).
