As a fellow motorcyclist & TH-camr I'm considering the same switch but not just for my 4k videos. I'm also trying to decide if it makes sense to jump into the world of 360 degree videos. My Insta360 One RS has been great for motorcycle & automotive perspective videos but does a poor job with 360 degree VR videos, especially since TH-cam VR cuts 5.7k down to 4k, although strangely enough supports 8k 360s. If you end up taking the plunge please do make a review video and throw some 360 8k clips out there for those of us with VR headsets. Thanks for sharing your reasoning.

Nice, I’m going to check out your channel. Interesting situation you described…..I will likely take the plunge since I like what it adds to my videos but it’s not all I want to have in them.
