Is the Hero 11 horizon lock available in 4K/30? currently i'm using the hero 10 in 4k/30 and horizon lock + boost stabilisation for filming with a second person on the go. the camera makes the horizon level sometimes a bit crooked. also it overheats very quickly when filming a timelapse while driving.
I’m looking to buy my first go pro to take on a family vacation to Disney and universal. Was looking for something small and lightweight to record the trip. Which go pro would you recommend 10 or 11?
4:50 your footage has been labelled wrongly. GP11 should be on the right no? It has the more detailed look.

Thanks so much for the video. I'm new to Go Pro. I've a very cheap Akaso V50X that is OK but seriously need to upgrade as motorcycle vlogging.
What I just wanna check is the Go Pro 10 has a direct transfer via cable to my phone, just wanna check the Go Pro 11 does the same or is it just Bluetooth via app.
To be honest I'm probably gonna fo for the 11 as the battery is the enduro plus the quality looks better. I'm in the UK and the Go Pro 10 is £300 & the Go Pro 11 is £350.
Also I'm a freak when looking after my gear. Any new phone has a case and screen protector before it comes out the box. What's your opinion on screen protectors. Looking to fit one on the front and rear screen but unsure about the lens. What's your thoughts.

Can you comment on the battery? I’ve seen some videos where the new Enduro battery seems to make a difference (in one video after shooting for a while GoPro 10 had about 65% left and 11 and 12 had about 75%) Do you find any difference there? Thank you.

I only use mine 2 x a year when i go to Spain diving, might upgrade form the 10

Great cover and breakdown on the features between the two. Unfortunately the question of should one upgrade, sounds the same every year with these type of video post being that the differences are only incremental. Nothing against you, but I have watch videos like this for the GoPro with every release and it has been the same. No matter who or what vids you watch or read when comparing GoPro models (i.e. GP 8 to 9, 9 to 10 or now 10 to 11), the summary and answer has been the same. Clearly, if you are new to a GoPro or if you looking to upgrade from a model may be 2 models back then there is a clear, definite reason to do so. Thanks for sharing anyways. I actually did learn a few tips.
yea. Ultimately, I always feel that if you were happy with the previous camera last year, you'll be happy with it this and next year. We don't *need* a new version of every product every single year. I'd rather have bigger breaks between upgrades and greater steps in between them tbh

Hi Chris - I bought the GP 10 (upgraded from the 7) I bought in September and made 1 vid on full auto 4k 30fps and it was pretty crisp and clear clarity, I returned it because the GP 11 came out a week later and because I bought direct from GP they let me return it and for the extra money I got the 11...anyways long story short I have done about 5 vids and a bit of testing with the 11 mostly on 4k full auto and all settings the same as the 10 (even same weather conditions) anyways the 11 is not (too me) as crisp and clear clarity as the 10...would you have any ideas of what I might be missing? Thanks for any info...

I think you are right. I’ll buy the 10. There’s no justification to buy the 11 for almost £200 more.

Ive just bought the 11. Im hero 7 silver at present and at time im writing this the 11 is 50 quid more than the 10... So im going for it...

I am not going to lie but if you have well over 500$ to spend on a Go-Pro then 25-50$ more for better quality and flexibility shouldnt be a concern, go for it!
If it is, and you feel the impact on your wallet I do not believe you are in a position to be looking to buy one in the first place :)
