What CPU's are you using in your rig?

Thanks for the video. I have a 5950x in my computer, and it runs 12-13 jash rate, too, with no overclocking. I just bought 2 7950x3d today. Hopefully, I will get more hashrate out of them.
Good to know, let me know how you go with the 7950xs. Interested to hear how much hash they get
You should have gotten the 7950x. The 3d portion of it is completely useless and cannot benefit you for mining.
Good to see a fellow Aussie miner!
Just wondering what your electric rate is? It's 30c here in WA but with 26 going on 29 CPU rigs, my power use is getting to where I can start negotiating for a better commercial rate.
I'm mining Dero and remaining profitable but I hate selling part of my yield to pay for power.
Hey maaaaate, Likewise! My rate in QLD is 26 cents, works out to about 18 after my solar is factored in to a 24 hour cycle. I also take profits quarterly and run as a business so with my dedeuctions it reduces another 20-35% ish depending on my expenses.
if you're covering you expenses with taking small profits you're doing the right thing, well played. Bullrun is coming. It's only up from here.
I have four 5900x and three 7950x 3d. The temps are 45-55c and the kh is 12 for the 5900x and 16 for 7950x 3d. For 5900x the motherboards are MSI B450 GAMING PLUS MAX and the coolers are AMD wraith prism. The motherboards for the 7950x 3d are ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI and the coolers are DeepCool CPU Cooler AK620 Zero Dark Dual-Tower. Also I use 750w PSUs, but maybe is overkill for this rigs so the next week I will try to power two rigs with one PSU, using 24-pin ATX Motherboard Splitter Cable, PSU Female to Male.
Yeah I was thinking about splitting my rigs off a single PSU but for the cost of the cheap ones I decided just to go one per board. I have some of my GPU rigs with Multiple PSU's though, works a treat!
@BearMarketMinerYT Today for my 5900x rigs I will test with 400w PSU (1stPlayer PSU FLEX 400W) and the price for this one is only 40usd
Let me know how you go.
@@BearMarketMiner Everything is ok. The rigs works perfectly. The PSUs are very small but very powerful, regardless of the fact that they are only 400W. Also today I have turned on my brand new 7950x3d, three of them. If you want I can send you a pictures. But the 7950x3d are brutal! 19.30kh with very little tweaks.
Yeh just fitted a 5950x into my gaming rig getting 15.5kh and 64c temps with very little optimisation - happy with that and will spend a day optimising more soon!
Awesome man, what cooler are you running on the 5950x? The stock cooler or did you beef it up?
@@BearMarketMiner That system is on water so is kept cool yeh. I dont think stock cooler is good enough.
Oh nice, watercooled would do the trick. I might have to install a block on my PC 3090 just for something fun.

It seems like this really doesn't get profitable in a interesting way until your creating your own power such as solar. I think you mentioned that. For someone like myself in an apartment, I don't think it makes sense. Question though, with the CPU mining would it be more beneficial for higher singlecore/clock or more cores?
As of today's prices, the revenue is 1.42 using no electricity (100% solar powered) and 1.12 usd after electricity, so I'd say the profits are still very solid without a solar setup at a reasonable electricity rate.
If you're looking for more specifics on CPUs, I'd suggest going to www.hashrate.no where they have a full list of profitable CPUs and various different coins/algorithms you can mine.
am new to this... would you advice CPU or GPU mining...i have free electricity..which is more profitable between the two with free electricity
Currently both are profitable. If you head over to www.hashrate.no, they have GPU and CPU calculators on the page. From there you can enter what hardware you want to use and your electricity rate ( input zero fi you have free electricity) and see how much you can make on different coins and algorithms. Hope this helps
At least you could find genuine second hand parts.
Yep, really happy with the quality and all working like a charm.
I run 65 watt Ryzen 9 7900 vanillas 140 watts at the wall and $16.7 KH. Rig costs far less in USA. 17.8 KH with 7900X's but higher watts at the wall. 160ish
What's the cost for a setup like mine in the states?
I'm curious to know too
@@BearMarketMiner
I wonder if 16GB ram is enough? Can you check with 32 and look if you are getting better hashrate? Nice video !
Yep I tried with 32. No noticeable difference from what I could see so I'd suggest q6gb at 3200mhz does the trick for the 5900x
awesome, good to know. ram the most expensive always if you good for some good one. @@BearMarketMiner
Dont forget to mine Darkfi when it launches on mainnet. Will be randomX like monero.
Will do!
Did you factor in energy consumption/cost into those figures? Idk how much it would effect or if it would effect it at all. But I know that thing has to burn some electricity which isn’t free. 😂
Yep, I've factored that in. Fortunately I have solar so it is in fact, free! My whole farm is run off it.
@@BearMarketMiner yeah after I typed the questioned I went through like half your vids and saw the solar stuff. I really like the fact that you only run 8 hours, you’re rigs will last much longer not to mention that uses strictly solar and doesn’t make your electricity bill sky rocket.
Yeah it's been really good. No issues with Hardware, no electricity costs other than the occasional cloud. Pretty much all profit
The 3900x are great for mining. I've got 3 of them running already
Yep I've got 2 I'm currently in the process of setting up 2 of them. Awesome CPU's
Nice! Unfortunately, here in Bulgaria 3900x are out of stock everywhere, so I use 5900x , 7900x and 7950x3d
The 3900x's were less common here in AUS also, the 5900x was much more available so I did the same as you and grabbed few more 5900x's
how much are 3900x or 5900x making per day ?
Currently, about 1 dollar a day USD
AMD EPYC 7551
My first Rig works with an 5900x, 65c, 14100 H/s. The next Rig is planned with an 5950x
14100 h/s on the 5900x sounds super high. What sw5tings are you tweaking to get that?
@@BearMarketMiner In the BIOS i set multipler Allcore to 44, Overboost is OFF, Voltage i Set 1,158V, PL i set for Secure to 110 W. RAM is Patriot Viper, 2x8GB 3200 CL16 and XMP activated. This runs Stable. The Real Clocks from the CPU i cant say, because i use HIVE OS and dont see the Clock from the CPU. BTW, is my First Mining RIG. ;)
Nice, I might give those settings a check and see how they run for me.
With all these CPU mining videos coming out, it's better just to buy Zeph instead of mining because the difficulty is going through the roof. Soon it will be impossible to get ROI.
I don't pay for electricity and have a solar setup, so it will always be more profitable for me to mine. May be different in your situation. Outside of zephyr, there are multiple other profitable coins that will ROI in around a year even with the increased hashrate.
side note
i was never lucky buying refurbished sh*t
they all got issues !...
Fingers crossed

Surely the profit doesn’t even cover the cost of the electricity?
The profit far outweighs the cost of electricity for most people as we go through in the spreadsheet. In my case. I use solar so my electricity costs don't exist.
My 5950x makes about $40/month and electricity is about $10/month.
Ryzen 5 3600 works out cheaper, available at 100 bucks each, gives 7400mhz.
More of hardware ofcourse, but can do with stock cooler
Yeah I did have a look at them, wanted a bit more bang for buck. But they are good value for money
Remember the other parts in the rig do cost money. To get the same hashrate as a 7950X you'd need a lot of little 3600 rigs which would work out to be more money in the end. Density is where it's at.
Take all that money building those rigs and put it in a CD and get 5-6% back in a year. Guaranteed FDIC insured if you're in the USA.
I'm not in the US so can't use an FDIC. This rig will return 100% in just over a year at current numbers, more than likely a lot faster when the bullrun hits.
