Enjoyed your tutorial, I too have been looking at the Farm Girl 2 book, but debated whether I would use it enough to warrant the expense of the book! I love Lori Holt, I already have 2 of her other books. I like everything she makes! Thank you for showing us the book and what it has in it. I subscribed to your page, and look forward to seeing your other projects! Thanks again for sharing!~~joyce

Kathleen .Rodgers: you wrote exactly what I was thinking and you wrote better that I can say! My question is I presume that we must buy templates to do all the blocks???

No templates for the blocks in Farm Girl Vintage 2. She provides cutting and piecing instructions to create the blocks.

The fabrics are Lori Holt Farm Girl fabrics. I'm so glad you enjoyed the information. I love the puzzle of piecing the blocks in Lori Holts Farm Girl Vintage II quilts.

I have a question I have the book what I am wondering about is to make the doll quilts it says 3 inch squares where do I get the measurements for 3 inch squares. I can’t find that in the book.

Hi Glenda, I was wondering that too. But I think you always need to use half of the size of the 6" blocks. For example, for the doll quilt on page 187 (it says she used the winter quilt unit on page 135 and the scrap quilt unit on page 118) you use the half of the size of the 6" block (scrap quilt block), i.e. instead of one 1 1/2" square only 3/4" square or for the winter quilt log cabin block you don't use a 1 1/2" square for the center block, but only 3/4" square. For rectangle C, not 1" x 1 1/2", but 1/2" x 3/4". Does it make sense? In my opinion then all the blocks should make a 3" block unit. These will be tiny blocks. I haven't tried it out yet but I will.
