Just a little more thought and larger small squares would have meant you would not have cut off all your points
Actually, I like it without the sharp points.
I also like it without the sharp points - looks more like a flower that way. Sharp points would make it look like
a star.
I like the way the points are "cut off" it gives the petals of your flower a more rounded look.
Really like this block. Showed it to a new quilter in our group and it was her favorite of all of our show and tell. I made it in 2 1/2" squares, too . Thanks for the demo.

Very nice block .but you should never use your rotary cutter towards your hand you should always go up with your cutting so you don't cut your other hand I did that and now I will always cut up
She knows this. Did you not see her disclaimer about this? She has a warning about it and specifically states that SHE has her reasons for doing it this way

Loved this block. Would like to know how you did the binding though. Is the back just turned over the front or is it an added binding??

Yes, half an inch. Make sure there is a 1/4 inch seam allowance on each side.
