      Tangs Pacific Bistro in Fort Worth. The best hot and sour soup to start with. And anything on the menu is so delish. The house special chicken or beef is my go to. Then the Mongolian beef is right behind those.

    Ketzler’s in Grandbury is an absolute gem. We drive an hour or more from north of Ft Worth to get great authentic German food.

    I'm 68 years old, my family has been in Texas since the 20's. I'm a descendant of someone who was a figure in the writing of the Declaration of Independence of Texas. You can go to all the "famous" restaurants that you want, but i have found that the real traditional/authentic mexican recipes/food are found in communities and homes of families who wish not to be highlighted or praised for their culture. That's where the real deal is.

    Went and tried out Naegelin's Bakery yesterday. Seating is all outside, which was over 100 degrees. Girl at the counter said they didn't make unsweetened ice tea on weekends. Eating dry bread outside with nothing to drink was a disappointing experience. Not anything I can recommend.

    Why do people always say we were part of Mexico ? 12 years that's all .😡 We were part of France also and new Spain a lot longer

    • @PaulyWally30
      @PaulyWally30 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because France was a minor hiccup. It had no significance. Spain kicked them out before they had a chance to settle and leave a permanent mark. Since Mexico used to be New Spain it’s influence is in the Mexican and Tex-Mex food.
