    Thanks for making this video. I needed to see these tools in action and figure out where to put that hole in the installation tool.

    I would love an video overview showing what are typical items that we should be looking out for as preventive maintenance and when (run hrs) to do these. Also maybe general maintenance schedules such as drive oil change out time frames and sea water impeller and such.

    You can use your grease gun to push some grease thru the hole on the gimbal housing to aid in lining up the grease hole on the new gimbal bearing on the non-sealed gimbal bearings when applicable.

    If the shaft is stuck in the bearing and the out drive is not coming ouy/off What do you suggest or do you have a video for that ?

    Hi Eddie, good to see you on the screen again. How often do we need to replace the bearing? Does it start to make sounds when it is on its way out?

    • @OnboardWithEddie
      @OnboardWithEddie ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes it does. It will make a winding noise. once in a while a clicking. Thanks for watching the videos and thanks for your support. 🤙⚓️

    The universal tool you used to hammer the bearing back in, wouldn't that only be a safe way to set it up assuming the old bearing was riding where it should be?
    Is it possible to hammer the bearing in too far or is there a lip in the housing to stop it where it should be?

    • @OnboardWithEddie
      @OnboardWithEddie 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There’s a lip where the bearing will stop

  • @JasonHash
    @JasonHash 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    You put bearing in wrong. Little dot on bearing should be at 10 o'clock position.
