Think you guys can do a comparison between a SMEG super Auto and a Berville Barista Touch Impress? because I am interested in buy either a SMEG or a Breville. Thanks
From these two, the smeg did a really nice job! But the DeLonghi will last a little longer, plus has a better warranty. Out of all machines.... Tough to say! A Semi-automatic will always give you better esopresso, we have been loving the Barista Pro, and La Marzocco Linea Micra recently :)
I was considering the smeg automatic with steam but now I am declined for the Breville barista touch impress as I read the grinder is more robust especially for freshly roasted beans. Any thoughts will be helpful. Thanks
Very true! Which is a shame, as it looks absolutely amazing. Unfortunately it also seems very unreliable :( it's basically a cheap Beko machine rebranded as Smeg.
You didn't tell people that the DeLonghi true Brew does espresso / coffee over ice. The Smurf machine, or whatever it's called, does not. cold brew over ice is easier on your stomach
Smeg quality has been improving as they move more items to Italy for production. Not sure which you are speaking of but keep an eye out for some new items coming particularly in Coffee with La Pavoni parts!
Thanks, ladies! :) This is so helpful. I think I’m going to go with the SMEG to match my other kitchen appliances.
Good choice!
Buonasera, è per caso possibile sapere qual è la differenza tra smeg bcc02 e 12? Un ringraziamento anticipato

Hmm.. These are very very different machines! What kind of beverages are you wanting to make?
Mostly Espresso and long Espresso@@ecscoffeeinc
Which machine does the best expresso ? Pure espresso Italian creamery style ?

Don’t forget you can get great tasting decaf beans
The issue is switching the beans out. You can't just pull out the container and dump them out.
Where can we get great tasting decaf beans?
Smeg not good for under cupboards due to water container location!

Smeg is crap.
All looks, nothing else.

But why does the steam wand on the Smeg eject water? 🥲
It is just stale water in the steam wand before the pressure builds
