Imagine an expansion with a extra island and adding ships as a mechanic, including naval fights
That would be a pretty great dlc and add some more flavour to play as a pirate/reaver or merchant.

I get Anglo vibes from the Swadians as well as the Norman ones, so I think they did to Battania what their irl counterpart did to the British Celts (apart from Wales and Scotland); subjugate. What's that? You can't pay for our protection anymore? That's fine; these are all our farms now; be sure to give us our bread from now on, serfs! Because if you're not Swadians, you're occupying Swadian land; and you know just how good we are at protecting this land!

I am torn. I love the Roman theme of the Empire but i was loyal to Swadia in Warband.

Vlandia is pretty much a warband campaign carried over into bannerlord

I’ve extended the lore, after the downfall of king derhert several mercenary kings rose to power, until the house of swadia came to power seizing all vlandian land, this was ruled by an ancestor of the great king harlaus.
But not all vlandians accepted their rule and the rhodoks declared independence
What disappointed me is that the Vlandians MP classes have a 13th century look instead of the 9th-11th century Norman style that was announced. Thus I've been redesigning the classes for days now, with the encouragement of a developer. Will soon show it in a huge thread on Taleworlds forum.

I just got a really good new PC and this will be the first game on it
I've really been doing good with Sturgia I enjoy their warriors, the berserkers are a very nice clean up. Useless against shield but good against shield less good to have behind a shield wall to then open and close when near archers.
@Ben Sellers berserker class is a two handed axe, albeit axes are best against shield but the distance of a sword and shield user against this class is far superior to a non shield user making them better at a further distance I.e behind a shield wall against non shield combatants

I never got to play the multiplayer for Mount and blade. Would like to try it out.
Vlandia takes over Battania and the empires, but are then divided into Swadia & Rhodoks later down the line.

The Swadians and Rhodoks are based off the Vlandians, the Rhodoks are essentially Vlandians that broke off from their faction to create a new one

Does nobody find it strange that we've had no word from taleworlds since early february? maybe i'm mistaken but a part from a corona statement saying march 31 will be maintained as a release date shouldnt there be more details about what to expect for that 49,99$ ?

The Normans were more Franks than anything else, after generations and generations they were no longer "norse raider" hence why England spoke french for more than 300 years
