I've recently become interested in Japanese vlogs. I love watching the cooking & have been buying ingredients as I find them. Then today I found you - your recipes are more accessible to me as I'm in the US. I especially like your meal planning as it's veggie heavy . I'm updating my grocery list based on several of your dishes & looking forward to making them this week. Thank you.

Ohhh Thank you, I'm so happy you found my channel helpful. I live in Canada, so I assume the ingredients I use are also available in the US 😊 I like using lots of veggies in my dishes, I hope you enjoy it!

All the food you cook looks delicious!! 🤩 I live in Canada too and when it's -10 degrees it feels like summer compared to when the weather hits -35 with windchill HAHAHA

Teriyaki chicken is always a good quick meal! We make it often too, but I'll try your recipe next time! I don't normally make it with egg but it sounds like a delicious accompaniment~ and I love pork katsu too, hehe.
We have the ice festival here too usually around family day weekend but I'm not sure how they will do it with the warm weather if it keeps up~~
Has it been warm for you? Today is so warm here, it's quite strange. Feels like 4° which is so strange for us this time of year. How about NS?
Hope you and your family are well as always ^^ Thanks for always working hard~~

It's been cold here. We had a snow storm last week and there are still lots of snow 😢
Oh It's very unusual having warm weather in Toronto in this time! Hopefully ice won't melt!
Thank you for your comment as always ☺️ Have a great weekend!

hi yasuko! i've been watching your videos for a while and appreciate how simple some of them are for a college student like me to follow. one question: what does adding sugar to the scrambled eggs do? does it make them go better with the chicken?

Hi thank you for your comment! I added sugar because Japanese people like sweet omelettes like tamagoyaki. But it's not necessary 😊
